What do you guy's think about mugen ? Do you guy's think Mugen has lost its flavor like an old piece of gum? I don't think mugen is as exciting now as it was back in the day. What's your opinion on this?

Agree with that. I dont play MUGEN as I did in the past(Years ago I had my play-phase and now I'm getting used to this "EDITION" phase). But when I see good releases (for any version) I want to collect them and use them (not to make an opinion about them but to see the effort that the creator put into the creation, as simple as that). MUGEN has some atractiveness (with the creation of new and surprisly characters and the improvement of the old ones), but the engine must be improved (and maybe to get into some other genres) if it want to increase that atractiveness.

It's just what I think.

Not less than why yours didn't elaborate on why. In fact if it's just to try to provoke people then maybe you should not post at all preferably.

Anyway, what my post obviously referred to (if it even needs an explanation) is that there's way more creation possibilities now than some years ago too and they are also being used.... so it's impossible that mugen was better years ago....

If you mean the news board, that is not a character recommendation area. Blaming the weather caster for the current weather would be proof of a very reduced ability to use logic.

And there is indeed some quality control at least to some point, and that's why you don't get some beta files, even if you do seem to get interested in getting them.

Well, if you want a "quality control area" maybe you should open and run one, because the news area is not. And it's the first time I ever say something like this, I don't even know what you mean with 2008.

Stating changes on a page doesn't make anybody responsible for the content. And by checking your requests, it does seem that you would have preferred to be informed no matter if the file was your liking or not.

You do realize the only way to judge is to actually try it (though you've basically praised everything and your only excuse when people say it's sucks is calling it an "alpha", and unrelated, lolnewsleaks).

The only stuff I report is stuff I've tried and actually thought was OK. Maybe you should pull your head out of your ass and listen to someone other than yourself for once.

Excuses != facts

Ding. And that's a reason to maintain information flowing and why there are areas for it.

(though you've basically praised everything and your only excuse when people say it's sucks is calling it an "alpha", and unrelated, lolnewsleaks).

I have never ever done something like that ever. I dunno who you are confusing me with, but when something is an alpha it should be indeed stated as that.

The only stuff I report is stuff I've tried and actually thought was OK. Maybe you should pull your head out of your ass and listen to someone other than yourself for once.

And how could you efficiently know where and how to try it? You barely report stuff anyway, and when you've done it's not like everybody called it good and liked it either... so that can't be the point of the news board.

However if you try it and want to recommend it, you should do it in an area designed for it or maybe even make a youtube, place it on your sig or something... Reporting and informing != recommending.

Maybe you should pull your head out of your ass and listen to someone other than yourself for once.

That doesn't make any sense after you've told me that I should not report page changes just because I might not like the content. Reporting stuff should actually help to allow to hear what people should say about it.

And trying to be rude on your post won't give you more reason, in fact most probably does the opposite.

In all honesty, I think it's the OLD Mugen that is less interesting, not so much the engine itself, but what people MAKE for it. People just don't create as well as they used to, or as creatively.

VERY FUNNY, though it was obvious he meant "creators", you used your superior english and deductive reasoning to make a joke about him saying CRATERS! huzzah!

mugen still has it's luster. RGB, Jigsaw, and the 3D Stage techniques are three examples of mugen being utilized in new ways to produce "better" results. things like cybaster's stage tool, various creations, The Blackheart by borghi, mugen, though it's stale a bit for me(i rarely download stuff anymore, unless it's something REALLY interesting), it hasn't for alot of the newer mugen players, and it'll continue to impress people for a long time.
