Hey guys! I've been having this problem for quite sometime with the PCSX 1.0.0 emulator. You see, this thing runs things ok on my computer but when it comes to certain games like Bloody Roar 3 or etc this thing slows down and doesn't work like it should and I don't understand why given my computer specs. Not every game does this but I still don't get why my computer can run games like Watch Dogs which is a game that takes alot of power and etc to run yet when I try to play some games with this PS2 emulator I'm getting slow speeds with some games (Not all)

My computer specs

My processor detailed specs
http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/Bulldozer/AMD-FX-Series%20FX-6120.html

My graphics card specs

And I do know about how to use things on my computer and such, so I'm letting you all know I have tried to tweak it with various settings, so I'm not completely out of the loop but I still feel as though I'm still missing something or its something I'm just not doing because I found a video on youtube of someone who is playing Bloody Roar 3 using the same emulator and this person has lower specs than me

So my question is, can someone please point me in the right direction? Because I have tried about all I can think of.

Please only post if you actually have the emulator or have used it and got it to run good. Also please don't post links to the PCSX2 homepage as I already have went there and tried to look for answers.

I think it's just that way for some games. CVS2 works perfectly for me. SFA Anthology and Darkstalkers Collection are slow as heck with lots of graphical errors.
In those 2 games the errors are kind of duplicating graphical parts of the game. Are the issues you are getting similar?

I was able to remove these errors with artmoney and made both games play perfect after I did this.

But look at the video of someone else playing it. They have theirs running at full speed yet my computer is more powerful than theirs. Something must not be configured right

afaik, if you configure it so it works well for one gmae anotehr game breaks. that has been my experience with those kind of emulators, you might as well have multiple installations for different games.

I'm glad you brought this up. I acutally just found a program that someone made off of the pcsx2 forum and it allows you to configure the settings individually for each game

And I managed to get Bloody Roar 3 to run at 60 frames with improved graphics and such with many many trial and errors but man the only thing I dont like is that the sound FX is like a second off.

Right now im going to try and see if I can make my others games I have work right. Hopefully they will because I never got to play all of my ps2 games. I'm kinda behind on alot of stuff

Like Rachet and Clank and some other stuff, I never took the time to play them. So I gotta get this going so I can get to them
