IS there anyway to fix this when indexing?

I put this in this section because i'm making the portrait for a screen pack.(warzone)

What exactly do you do?!

post every step you do to create the portraits.

btw the way i've done two portraits before and i only got a pink outline
ok here i go: first I get my pic
                   

then i put it in the template:
                       

then i make a copy of the forground and put it behind my pic:

then index it and follow the tut on how to make a sprtie background transparent by cyblaster although its a stage tut the first piece works.

and after i change the color transparent and this happens.(the pic from my first post)

I didn't post pics at the end because that would be a lot.

you are trying to convert a png/psd with gradient transparency. For mugen, you can only export sprites with one solid color as transparent.

index 0 color won't be shown by mugen, but is not the same as transparency. (for portraits)

preferably...
look for pictures with solid colors and sharp edges, or cut them yourself for better results

Or insert a new layer with a dark background (black preferably) and use the magic wand, as well as the eraser tool to clean the image. but, if you prefer to have the job done real quick, look for other images.
