D&D is shit anyway, especially the D20 system. :P

Iunno, if you consider it a long-term board game rather than a role playing game, it's good at what it is:)

Many people complain 4th ed. got too MMORPGy.. I don't really care, it's a proven formula, if I want to role play I pick something else anyways. :P

...geez, such a long wait for the next page :sadgoi:

Take in consideration that while namekians werent that strong in battle they had tons of special techniques, the Corrupt Piccolo daimao could summon  familiars , use telekinesis and a bunch of other stuff, the weak kami-sama piccolo could create creatures ( he crafted a whole dragon) inbue life within lifeless marionettes, distort the rules of reality and empower crap, even Piccolo Junior had some of those strange techniques, like telepathic abilities and the capacity of creating objects our of thin air. His "special beam cannon" wasnt huge in power but used a drilling skill to murder opponents, there is more to fighting than raw power, and namekians were renown by using skills.

Also, technically if Piccolo wanted to be "ONE" being again he would have to resurrect the daimao portion and fuse with that one as well.

..that's what I meant :)

that portion was reincarnated in new piccolo. common enemies united him with goku, but it still is the same one..

I dont believe that there was no loss on that system, Daimao had granted the wish for infinite energy, so he was a powerhouse on his own right , he cheated the death system ( daimao dies, so does kamisama) by transfering a portion of himself into the new egg, but this egg didnt had neither all his techs nor all his powers ( piccolo was unable to summon beasts, for example, daimao with infinite energy could recreate a giant army and go on about to bring the dark ages to the world)

...Wait why am I putting more thought into this than the very writer put, bleh.

This is all old news, I'm suprised that no one else here has mentioned this before.
I would have except I thought that it had already been discussed before.
Anyways people go here http://z7.invisionfree.com/Neo_Elite_AFstadium/index.php?s=89168067103799b4abad62a008607413&act=idx and check out what's in store.
Check out PVG's AF series well as Toyble's AF series. Both have their strong points and
feature excellent artwork. Also be sure to check out some of BK-81's work as well.
I'm sure the DBZ fans here are gonna drool when they see this site.

Meh... old news to you or not, Multiverse is the greatest thing I've seen since the original series.  Dragon Ball AF started out as an April Fool's joke, and frankly, I wish it had ended there 12 years ago.  Those AF series always come across incredibly amateurish to me (both in artistic style and story), unlike Multiverse which completely blew me away.

Multiverse is just SO polished and accurate by comparison in every way, right down to the humorous moments in classic Toriyama fashion.  Besides, that's about all my DBZ palette can handle anymore.

The worst thing on AF is how all the "fanart" is always horrible done and mostly composed of different palletes. "HAA this char now has badly photo shopped or colored blonde/purple/blue hair! HE IS SUPA SAYAN XENO3000!!"

Sounds like AF was originally a line of Chinese counterfeit toys.

I know that Multiverse is badass. The site mentioned has all of the current projects out there listed in one place for convenience. Dig around; there's plenty of treasure to be found.
Check this out: http://desirecampbell.com/project/dbaf/
Yeah PVG's work need polishing for sure but Toyble'sAF project is by NO MEANS amateurish. You must have never read it before. (only minor translation issues with localization)
The artwork is spot on and story progresses at a steady pace.
It feels like reading an official manga.

Amidst other things it was an april fool joke from this website, it coupled with the hundred of little fucks that keep claiming to have uncles from JAPAN that brought them the cartoon to watch.

Best part is, they made sure the very distinct words ("nani" etc) are more or less correct with the context :lugoi:

I hope he isnt canon fodder. :(

Cannon fodder is a very relative term in that comic, it really depends on the matchups. It's one of the most difficult things for a comic like that, at the beginning I thought "wtf every rational person would leave there after seeing that shit", and... they did. Hope they find a good way to hold the suspension of disbelief and do tons more matches.

I can't imagine anyone feels like fighting after the Broly vs. Vegetto match. Except Goku, he's got this thing with his brain.. :P

Gotenks wants to have fun, Super Namek Guy is strong, Cell has progressed, All-Absorbed Buu would surely want to fight, Vegeta is here for that, Fat Buu doesn't care one bit, etc. I'm sure there'll be plenty of fights. :)

I've always hated the fact people made broli out to be so strong. I mean didnt he get his ass handed to him by trunks and goten in the
2nd movie he was in? I always put him in the "lower than cell range" guess he just keeps surpassing every damn thing

I think that bump on the head as a child did that.

Concerning Broly, he's the legendary super saiyajin, who can progress infinitely (as the other Saiyans, but whatever), and his design is just too awesome. :P
And "The Return of Broly" and "Bio Broly" are just so bad you shouldn't take them into account.
