I do hope that in the solo battles (like Super Saiyan Goku vs Full Powered Frieza) they don't make the 4-player system appear in Story mode. Which unfortunately seems like they will add it, by watching the trailer.

Each new game enhances the story mode with the current system, because that's really the only point of redoing the same thing over and again, so you can be pretty sure it will be added to reproduce the story more closely each time. That said, the biggest battles always end up as one-on-one anyway so stuff like the main part of Goku vs Vegeta, SSJ Goku vs Frieza will end up without it.

A big fat 'MEH' on this one. The cell-shaded looks is really past it's prime and the animations look as bland as they were in the Tenkaichi Budokai series.
Gameplay looks once more like it'll be a button-mash extravaganza.

As far as the animations are concerned, when a player is getting hit by multiple people, they look horrible.  They could put a lot more time into it, but I feel this is another rushed DBZ game with the same feel that the last four games have had. No buy for me. :\

Also, this is so much a fighting game as a beat-em up with flying.

But if you watch the trailer, you can see that the SSJ Goku vs Frieza part makes Goku go with Krilin, Piccolo and Kid Gohan. Which means that system would also apply for parts in which it shouldn't appear, and I honestly wouldn't like to see every single battle become a many vs many and many vs one.

Honestly, I share the same opinion as Hoshi and Balthazar, it's yet again another rushed/half-assed Dragon Ball game. If the trailer doesn't make it look good you know it's a problem.

I dont get why people want huge rosters for Dragon Ball games. I mean guys who would play Guldo or Apule ?

Seriously, it's not like they do anything all that special.

....Cui, on the other hand, is the best thing ever with his Lord Frieza attack.

Game looks like a nice concept, but that's about it.  Unless they return with what-if stories...

I meant UT got a pretty small roster missing some characters that were part of the story, like Kid Trunks, Goten, Dabura, etc. I don't mean a huge roster like BT3 that pretty much has everyone included.
