Does anyone in here play DFO? <3 Here is the place to speak about it~!

You can add me on there as SaijoruMaya currently. Talk about the characters you have, what level you have and rumors as to what might be added into the game in the future and more!

Currently playing the Xbawkz version, waiting for the new quest, but no word outside of a small leaked trailer in the marketplace. Hoping it brings more character types with it too.

Hey Princess here are my characters on DFO

FlyingAngela - Female Grappler and my main.

RiotOfOrochi - Female Brawler

StriderSage - Blade Master

theboogieman - Male Spitfire

RobZombies - Avenger

Splaterhouse - Monk

SarCastro - Berzerker

GlenKruger - Exorcist

Add what you like and I hope to play with you on DFO. About rumors there has been images of the Female Slayer and Female Priest but they are most likely fake because there was a male mage picture that looked nothing like the male mage currently. Now what I do know is that there will be Dark Knight for slayers and it looks very overpowered to me. They take the best moves of the slayer and make it into one subclass. Needless to say pvp might be worse than it already is.

I play well more like AFK in now that my friend and guild mates are back in school anyway my characters are

MGirard lvl 70 M Nen
Shinajinciko lvl 70 F Launcher
RappidIce lvl 62 Spitfire
MrSaffron lvl 43 M Grappler
Vilestar lvl 42 Rogue
LeahJinciko lvl 37 Summoner
Hikarimiko lvl 15 gonna be a F Nen

Don't play the lvl 70's much outside of doing OV

Concerning the Female Slayer both of the pictures of her are official the first one was shown when her and M Fighter were revealed to be classes in the work. The second was shown at the Dark Knight and Creator reveal and she's coming in Winter to Korea/DnF we may be able to expect her next Summer in DFO. Female Priest probably is fake never seen that one myself. Also don't worry about Dark Knight or Creator making PvP worse they aren't able to enter PvP.

Female Priest picture that I found.

And great! Can't wait to play with all of you! I have ONLY  a level 47 F. Gunner (Ranger) at the moment. I've only been playing the game for about five weeks now, but it's fun! I just got a Pink Fallen Ethereal's Dress.

Don't worry I got characters below and and above that level so we can play no matter what. I've got a lvl 63 which is my highest but I like to dabble back and forth between characters to keep the experience fresh. I'd say give other classes a try if you're interested. I didn't think I'd like being a blade master until I've tried it.

I'll add you guys (ugh going to have to with EACH character. wish there was an account friendship system) and I'll swing by to help. If you guys are stuck I'll be more than happy to help you out of the rut. I remember the tassel quest on scoria and that was a pain.

I was expecting the female priest to be to be a little more taller and muscular on her picture. Hope to see more variance in the classes soon. A male thief sounds great and the ninjutsu class for the thief should be fun.

  • You're in the way.
Benaiah - Lvl 70 Weapon Master
Apollyx - Lvl 64 Soul Bender
Dychi - Lvl 70 Male Nen (Main)
Sharlam - Lvl 45 Ranger
Swillo - Lvl 41 Rogue
ZeoRebirth - Lvl 60 Glacial Master (Last Active character)

Don't really play anymore, but those are my characters.

A quick question, there are still no EU version of this?
I remember there was an USA version, that banned all non-USA IP's. Of course there were still korean and japanese versions but meh.
Still no way to play this outside of USA right?

Nexon is the only company at this day and age that region block all of their games.

I've been playing DFO since CB.

My main is my Avenger, currently. I just love the class. He's level 70. I also run Berserker and Grappler. I've played the majority of classes in the game.

Dang, it's been forever since I played this, since I never found any real mates to play with.

I sometimes fooled around with a couple of classes, but my favorite is the Priest. Never got past lvl 25.

Its okay, it gets pretty slow going higher in levels unless you have a good guild or friends.

Started playing this game about 1 week ago. My first character is a level 19 female gunner. I switched to male fighter about 4 days ago.

Looks like everyone here has level 70's. Damn, I would probably slow you guys down in dungeons. lol

On the contrary, the way I see it is that the mentoring system + profession mat gathering + AH selling = great incentive to help.

Given to how I am in the game I'd try to help you out to also recommend/be recommended into a good guild as well. I'm not level 70 yet but it doesn't mean that I don't mind helping out. In the past whenever I have gotten an item that I couldn't use I'd give it to a friend so that they can use it. If noone wants it, I just sell it. I prefer to invest in others because friendship is worth more to me than gold anyways.

And I can't even get the damn plug-in to work for me...somehow.

Meaning I can't even download the fucking game because for some reason, my computer does not want to accept the plug-in(and no, this isn't firewall blocking it or anything else, the plug-in just plain fails to download onto my computer).

You limit yourself so badly when you try to avoid variables. When you get over your fear of the "complexity" of variables, you will find yourself in a better place: A beautiful world where coding is actually fun.

That's some great news. I've already downloaded the client. But for some reason I keep getting Runtime c++ error when I try to launch the game. And it looks like I'm not the only one experiencing this problem. I hope they'll fix this ASAP.

[Letter from CEO]

Dear DFO players,

Hello, this is In Lee, the CEO of Neople. I am very pleased to have this opportunity to write to you.

My work is to develop games but at the same time I’m a game player, just like you. So the player-side and the developer-side coexist within me.

Throughout this Alpha phase, many of you have been showing support for us so I wish to sincerely thank you all. And I see many of you are wondering about our future plans, so I would like to share a few words.

As our team mentioned here before, through this Alpha test we tried to assess the viability of the service, and we did not have any updates or proper customer service. Our main goal was just to see how many players would come to play our game.

The result was not favorable in our standard, but seeing the comments many of you left on our postings and our team’s will to give DFO another try, we have finally decided to bring the game back once again. The details will be posted separately.

I'd also like to draw your attention to the following points:

* We have already failed once before. So it is difficult for us to say our game and service is the greatest. But we will make sure to do our absolute best when we run the service.

* We may not satisfy everyone, and we will run into problems. But we promise to try our best to fix things.

* Neople is a development company, and we have no experience, other than in Korea, in servicing the game on our own. So our level of support when it comes to customer service may not meet your standards. We have to learn as we go along, and we may cause some inconvenience in doing so. We can promise to learn fast and do our best, and we would appreciate your understanding in this.

* We will make changes to some aspects of the game so hackers and gold-farmers don’t come into our game. Our game designers and I are considering many different possibilities, and whatever the outcome might be we will make gold-farming pointless in our game.

* This is our plea to you. Please do not hack or abuse the game. It is our responsibility to create enjoyable games, and it is your responsibility to enjoy them. If we focus all of our energy to blocking hacker and abusers, we won’t have enough time to create other exciting new contents or events. We won’t have to time to listen to the majority of players who have been purely enjoying the game. We earnestly ask you not to abuse the game – please enjoy them in the way they were meant to be.

* The postings on our Facebook Page is directly written by the developers here. Of course they are very busy, but they take their time to read your comments and communicate with you. We will continue this, and try to do it more often. But please understand that we cannot answer every question or request made about the game.

We don’t have any experience running a service like this, and we are still a bit confused on what we have to do from now on. However we will give it a go. It may take time – very long time indeed. Nonetheless please stay with us, tell your friends, spread the news, and please be here when we finally come back.

Your cheers and support give us the power to move forward.
We promise to do our very best.

Thank you

In Lee
CEO, Neople Inc.

I'm mainly confused about their standard that they wanted to hit...

They are almost at 17K Likes with ZERO ADVERTISING past word of mouth alone. As well as they should not act like DFO failing was their fault, that was ultimately the fault of Nexon America, they have nothing to apologize for and the fact the team wants another go(as well as our voices) speaks volumes on that.

Otherwise, FUCK YES, DFO IS BACK FOR REAL!

[Announcement]

It’s going to be a long announcement so please read carefully

1. Alpha and Beyond

* The current Alpha Test will end on June 13th Friday 6PM KST
* And the answer is YES. We will bring DFO back.

2. What Stays and What Goes?

* Your Character Name/Class, and your Level will STAY
* EVERYTHING ELSE (including but not limited to gold, items/weapons you have on you and in your vault etc.) will be GONE/ERASED.

* Since it is an Alpha, we cannot leave the items/gold etc. but the least we could do was to leave your character name/level. Also when you come back later, we will make sure to prepare you with necessary items so you can enjoy the game without any hassle.

* We will be providing other means of login for those of you not wishing to use your Facebook account for DFO, However, please note if you want to continue on with your Alpha character when the game is back, you must use the same Facebook account to login.

* To reward you for participating in Alpha we will definitely prepare something for you.

3. Future Plans

* As all of you know (yes, we know too) the Alpha version is so old it almost feels ancient. So naturally it will take us quite a long time to prepare a fresher version, and of course fix all these messy problems everyone has been telling us about.

* What we would like you to understand is that we will not be able to bring the game back within a few weeks; it may take longer than many of you expect, but we will make sure to communicate with you through this page and let you know where we are in terms of preparing the official launch.

Thank you so much for everyone’s patience, and we are so happy to have been blessed with such amazing players

It’s a beginning of something really exciting for us, and we hope you guys are excited as well!

Good to know the Characters and levels are at least staying.

And nice to see that there will be other methods of logging in than Facebook. I do not want to pollute my main page with advertisements.

That's EXACTLY what it implies.
They stated that the pictures was clues on something and the main thing people got was progress reports. It would make zero sense to show off 2nd Male Launcher Awakening without it being a clue on how far they are going.

The Closed Beta Test won't be so closed after all.

Due to reaching 40,000 FB likes, there are no limits to joining the beta test in March 2015.
I wanna try this out.
