Edit/Fix Patch for Chuchoryu/Varo_Hades's SF4 Cammy

Hey everyone!

This is a 'patch' for the Cammy char by chuchoryu and Varo_Hades, using the char base from POTS (phantom of the server), so all credit goes to them.



I'm not a spriter, nor a coder, nor a creator. All I did was to edit this char to my liking.

What I did: (by 12/19/2014)
-Edited the new stand animation, now it includes eyes 'blinking' and abs details. Head was edited using other sprites from the same char.
-Edited the crouch animation, now also includes eyes blinking.
-Edited some intro and 'win' animations (Added 'abs').
-Fixed some intro and 'win' animations, including the ones when defeating Dhalsim, and facing Vega(Claw) and Bison(Dictator).
-Addded some Victory Quotes.
-Added a SF2 Ending made by me, using sprites from this char(for Arcade Mode). It includes sound.

There might be other sprites that also need some small edits. I will work with them along the way as I find them (and have time to do so).

Chuchoryu might have an updated Cammy soon to be released, so when that comes, you may discard this patch.

It's the first time I edit a character like this, so I learned a lot along the way.

Any feedback (good or bad) and advice will be appreciated.

I just hope that a patch can be made for her Frankensteiner. Seriously, Hooligan Roll and Frankensteiner are inverted and I have no idea of fixing this.
I'm not Crazy...I'm just Mentally not-ill enough....

Looks nice the update :thumbsup:, and don't worry if Chucho makes another update because could be in much time, and I can comment him about your patch for including in the next update, only hope that he can update the sprites of her boots or if someone can do would be perfect :D

Thanks! And about the boots? Yeah, been thinking of that. Once I finish with some other edits, I will start on them. Just to see how it goes.

Which Cammy did you use? It's Cammy Delta Red that Chucho made.

If you look closer it has a new .DEF file and it's "CammySF2". So you have to change that in your roster.

This patch certainly improves quite a bunch in Cammy's visuals. Just his stance is already a huge change for the best, in my opinion~

The only remaining thing that bothers me about Chucho's Cammy sprites is how the boots and beret have a completely red palette, yet her gloves or whatever you call them still share colors with the skin shades. In my opinion, that feels very inconsistent his default palette, and some others too. That and her arms and face feels very pillow shaded in her running animation. Another problem I remember, although not exactly related to the sprites, is that she is simply invisible in her intro against Chun-Li.

Still, your patch is something I really enjoy to have, and actually made me want to keep Chucho's Cammy in my roster~ I'll only be looking for a better lifebar icon for her, although I can't really remember anyone who might've done it.

I've seen some gifs at DevianArt for a proper CvS Cammy (Delta Red, not Bison's Doll). Intros, Stands and wins.
So yeah! That would be a dream come true, Black Hatter.

I wouldn't mind seeing a CVS sprite Version of Cammy, be it Delta Red or Killer Bee.
but yeah there is still the problem with her Frankensteiner and Hooligan roll to Frankensteiner.

Since you're using that lifebar by Tatsu, maybe you're messing up the palettes. I think you'll have to ask for help in the proper thread/subforum instead of this one.

I haven't patched her. Could you be able to load her in mega the full char to try her out?. :)
