I'm working on a Dong Hwan edit, but I want to smooth all the sprites to HI-RES to look AWESOME!I'm not too sure how to do this. Please help! ???
Make Dong Hwan twice that size. Now go over each sprite very carefully and make it nice and smooth. Add detail to things like the hands feet and face. That's proper hi res.You could also use one of those blurring blow up filters, but they don't really look that good.
Really, any quick and easy way to make your sprites high-res (and "quick and easy" is relative here... even just blowing everything up with a filter will take some time) is going to make them less "AWESOME" looking than they were to begin with.

Uhm, what tools do I use to smooth him out?I'm using Photoshop CS3 right now.Sorry if I'm troubling too much ???
you can use any tool that allows you to edit sprites. Starting from paint to photoshop and the like. I recommend something in between, call it Graphics Gale or Charamaker99.You might check the graphics arts sections, there are a lot of "convert to hd" experiments there, just make sure you check several pages and you'll find something useful. In any case, just one sprite will take you more than an hour.

Pencil. This isn't a "quick" thing if you want it to look good. Delete anything that looks bad and redraw it. Change things so the proportions fit again and you have clean lines. When you can, add some detail. Face especially will need to be redrawn just about every frame. the 1-2 pixels of eye and mouth distort horribly when scaled up.

That IS the tutorial. There is no way of making it "look good" through a tutorial. You'll have to learn how editing works and get good at it. Practice practice practice.
