Edits not registering immediately

Not sure if this has been brought up before, but edits are no longer registering immediately.

Grammatical errors I've fixed and saved in various threads, still appear to be there when I reload the page up to five minutes later. That really irks me.

Do we have any plans to fix that or must I just deal with it?

I suggest extending my banning, cuz when I come back, it's gonna be hell. You think I was annoying before, oh man, it's on now :)
