Minor update time:
-Ive made a bit of progress
-She has a mix of data from Ultra and X, making her more powerful
-S.Hk and Arch heel are +4, c.lk is a +6, and c.mp is a +7. Her moves are a bit safer in X for some
-standing normals and command moves are done as well as a couple crouching and tcs

Wow, based off that those normals sound beast. Maybe I've been sleeping on Elena lol. You got her CS applied and all? I seen Whoosha say he was finished.

He was still working on them the last I heard. I may release the beta and get the separated sff later on. She will probably need to have her bracelets as helpers to free up colors. With as good as the cs was, Im all for the extra options.

Her juggles are going to be the challenge once her normals are done. I code juggles differently than Pots and she has a lot between her three series. I prefer Ultra to X. So her ex mallet will be that one. I prefer her 3s and Ultra scratch wheels too. She will probably be more Ultra than 3s. I didn't play her much in 3s tbh

I really want her to have kara throws, but I honestly dont know much about them. Is it every non air normal? What is the input window for a kara throw? Her F.mk is perfect for it. She gains like 28 pixels in the first frame(before scaling).

Crouching normals and non air tcs are done. Ill be off in a couple days. Ill do the system stuff and probably upload and Alpha to make sure Im doing it right

IIRC, Kara throws are mainly for one/two normals a character has, like Sagat's f.LK in SF4, which allows him to cancel into any special/his super before the hit comes out. There's also Ken's Kara throw off of his f.MK, which pretty much requires you to hit three buttons at once.

Idk, depends on if Elena had one in any of her games?

S.mp and f.mk are mentioned iirc. F.mk being a lot better.

Sagat's kara-uppercuts and knees are a major part of his game imo. Or at least how I play it. He really should get that move in mugen.

Maybe do a bit of testing to see how the Karas work in whichever one they're in?

And yeah, they are. I'm just gonna stare angrily at the lack of proper sprites for now.

In 3s, its either 1 tick or 2. There is a 1 tick lag in my emu so Im not sure if its just one. If you do it as the f.mk anim has started, it doesn't work so I assume its one tick. Should I have a config option to disable it?

Other options Im adding:
-Taunt input(start button or lp+hk with a pause menu)
-Taunt bonuses(stun bonus(CFJ characters only), bonus damage, healing boost, scratch wheel height bonus or combo damage increase, etc)
-Throw input(2p/2k vs lp+lk)
-Hit sound selection(pots or sf4)
-Language selection(if I get her sf4 voices)

I increased her jump height slightly. Im not sure if artmoney lags, but I seem to be missing the first velocity frame. So I added the yvel drop rate and it looks better imo. Im just hoping she doesn't have position changes in mid air lol

........she does gain position in the air lol

Normals are done including tcs. Ive tweaked her j.mp, j.hp tc to force it to hit more enemies. Some system stuff is done as well. Just down to cc activation and parry animations(was using my laptop). Once I tweak some stuff, Ill send the pre alpha out for testing. Just to make sure Im doing it right.

After Elena, Im doing Rose, Yun, or Hotaru. Depends on motivation and free time. Yun and Rose have extra uses for me. If someone wants to build an sff with Felo's latest Rose set, I can get her coded fairly quickly. With her ultra buffs, I can make something beastly cfj2 wise. Mugen needs more good Roses

cool you going forward with Elena & Rose (eventually). I've been curiouis about something. Where exactly I can find your other chars ? I know there is Ken hosted at TM, your CFJ2 folder but you said all those are pretty outdated. So where you host your most recent stuff ?

The most recent CFJ2 stuff is on drop box. Im hoping to gradually update the trinity ones when I finish the main updates.

Yun was pretty close to finished before. Just juggle stuff, his flip special, supers, and AI

I started working on Hotaru and have her almost caught up to Elena. Most of her normals and system stuff are done. I alternate between Elena one day and Hotaru the next. Though my netbook is having issues charging again so Elena got screwed over for today.

For Hotaru, Im going to try to get as much of her XI self in as I can. Ill see what I have resources wise and may add the other stuff later. Ill soon be able to emulate kof XI on my tower(Assuming I didn't screw up building it that is). Elena is the priority with Hotaru being something of a gift.

As with my other snk creations, they lose parry for jd. She also has max mode over cc. I may add some other stuff to the system later

Minor update. Hotaru is up to specials. Also, my motherboard died :p. Seriously, my luck sucks giant Blanka balls. Im still considering doing final updates to Ken and karin. What would they get?

Ken:
-Dodge/attack, run, voice selection, run, power charge, etc as config options
-V.Ken mode
-possibly a cvs2 mode since mine is mostly based on 3s moves wise

Karin:
-Dodge/attack, run, power charge, ukemi as config options among possible others
-a new level 3 from Phantom's.
-her actual intros and winposes :p
-better AI.

I think I prefer a config style even if it potentially allows too much crap. That way you can have your pots and I can have most of my CFJ2.
