So, games all play fine when I use the "Nice" setting for ePSXe 1.70, that's fine and dandy. However, whenever I try to record them using Bandicam or Dxtory, the game lags pretty badly. Take this for instance: 1 full second for Final Fantasy VII's in-game clock to pass without recording takes about 2-4 seconds while recording. I remember recording on this computer earlier in the year, and I KNOW it never lagged this badly. I am wondering if there is something that I need to fix in the settings or what? I've tried my old settings from my original computer, which lagged about the same, and I've tried both Pete's D3D Driver 1.77 (which is what I use anyways so why this lags now is beyond me) and Pete's OpenGL Driver 1.77, as well as various settings, but they all lag.

Computer specs, if they matter at all:

OS: Windows Vista
Processor: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4800+ 2.50 GHz
Memory: 3.00 GB
System-Type: 32 Bit

If anyone can help me fix the recording issues with lagging, that would be fantastic. I would love to get back to recording some PSX games again, but due to this incident, I cannot do so. Last PSX game I recorded seems to be Digimon Card Battle in October of last year...

EDIT - Nevermind...it seems to be whenever I record period, as even with a NES emulator, it lags as badly as with a PSX emulator...is there any way to tell what could be wrong?

EDIT #2 - Apparently GBA is perfectly fine?? I am confused as to what is going on here. x_x;

Configuring you're setting might be the answer to you're questions.
