I'm sure most of you know that you can't download songs from eSnips directly anymore. They can make all the excuses they want - I've heard it all before.Being someone who operates thru the library I can't go the FTP or torrent route. And I can't get mediaconverter.org to do anything either. Anyone know another way to snatch songs from eSnips?
The only other way I could think of is using a sound capture program (like video capture, but with just audio).Well, at least I never downloaded music from esnips.

GaryCXJk said, December 14, 2007, 12:11:45 amI'd just buy the music.Agreed. As easy as it is to get this stuff for free, the quality is much better if you buy it and rip it yourself... then again, Jared has always made fun of my ability to hear sound defects in mp3/ogg files.
Get Audacity and record songs you are streaming.I buy albums/singles but only if I know they're good. To see whether they're good or not, just look it up on Youtube and someone has bound to have uploaded it in one form or another.
The best way to do it is to take the CD's you want from a store and run as fast as you can. To make it fullproof, leave donuts behind for the cops.

Arthur said, December 16, 2007, 09:21:08 pmOh look: Limewire still works. You obviously didn't read my initial post.
USe something basic... Frostwire, Limewire... Shareaza...If you really like the music... /buy?Otherwise rip a .flv using vixy... or another program of the such... http://www.vixy.netThere is an online (Via site) and personal clinet (Downloadable)
limewire is crap since more than a year, can't do a single search without getting "steven spielberg hilarious prank call" bullshit, and unless you're searching for popular stuff you don't get anything there anymore
buy a freaking cd for a change or use torrent!!! "but i'm using a library......... " well then tough shit you gotta give some to gain some... buy a computer and pirate the right way buddy.
Yiddus said, December 17, 2007, 05:35:14 pmIf you really like the music... /buy?I need to pirate my stuff because the songs I have now are either from old CD's, old CD's that didn't come out in America, or video games. Also, I don't know where to get new CD's anyway, only Bootlegs and old ones (most I don't have interest in). And before you say anything, quiet. If you lived where I lived, you'd understand. I can only count one place that sold new, non-used CD's (well, they've since closed down years ago), but 5 places where I can get bootlegs. But since the old music I'd like to here isn't really available (Me, find Obie Trices' CD with Rap Name on it? HAHAHAHAHAAAA), buying isn't really an option.
