man, i got behing on everything but i'm slowly catching up

- ore twintails ni narimasu: could have been a great fun show but the sudden an extended animation QUALITY made the 2nd half almost unwatchable. hope this gets fixed in the BDs
- amagi brilliant park: it wasnt that bad and it had some funny moments (ep 13 was specialy funny) but the plot was meh. the most boring episode is without a doubt the one centered on the elementario girls whose only purose if to fanservice and ero doujin material (i'll need to hung over after the next comiket)
- hitsugi no chaika: the ending wast that bad. but as everyone mentioned the ending was rushed and kinda ruined a good show. if the same thing had been extended to at least 12 episodes we would have been like "yeah, it was good". ending awaful. dissapointed!
- psycho-pass 2: it was bad. the only good thing was to see akane acting as a proper inspector and not just tagging along someone
- sword AIDS online: this was also bad but for some reason i was looking forward to this train wreck.
- waifu ga kill: i'm probably the only one here who didnt liked this show. forgetable characters, meh plot, all-over-the-top shounen-like powerlevels, esdeath, etc. 5/10 would not watch again
- grisaia no kajitsu: it was a rushed mess but it got me interested in the VN which i plan to play... evetualy (well, i've already played what was covered in the 1st epsiode). also, makina is best fruit
- UNLIMITED SANDWICH WORKS: ufotable did an amazing job with this one. it will be a long wait until april but i'll have jojo to help me get through. also, DAT RIN... DAT SABER....!. and just when i though it couldn't get better: YUME NI MITEITA...

//edit: almost forgot but for anyone interested trinity translation team released the 2nd part of christmas cake tomoe mami :D

fuck you bastard i was going to put that scene as my avatar!

but you gotta admit though sensui's allies are fucking awesome especially sniper and that guy who ate toguro's brother.

watchign that episode felt a lot like watching amagi brilliant park, teh main characters were going on with their boring shit while saber was eating / sylphie was doing stupid shit , which was more entertaining than whatever the show was about at the moment.

Yeah, Sensui's allies were pretty cool.  It just sucks that after good buildup, the main man himself isn't as cool.  They had everything going good with him
Spoiler, click to toggle visibilty
using his smarts to predict Yusuke's moves.  But everything fell apart after they brought in all the extra power ass-pulls.

I don't expect much from this last arc, but I going to marathon-watch the remaining episodes through today and tomorrow before the new year happens.

Working on personal projects and spending less (non anime watching) time on internet.

You're just going to have to PM me if I get chosen
for the question thread.

the early bird gets the sandwich

hey guys what chapter in the manga maiya from fate/zero dies?
you already asked this before some time ago. anyway i checked and 6 chapter have been translated so far (and apparenlty each volume has 5 chapters) and they are still in the lancer vs saber fight from the begining. 4 volumes have been released so far and is still ongoing. so maiya's death scene has not happened yet.
teh main characters were going on with their boring shit while saber was eating
there were 12 sandwiches and saber ate 7 on screen while shirou and tohsaka had 3 but this might be wrong because in two ocassions the focus on tohsaka and shirou was too long so either saber was taking her sweet time eating or had gulped down a couple more sandwiches offscreen. and since sometimes she would eat really fast and others she would take her time (but not as long as those two ocassions) so it might be safe to assume that saber might have eaten 9 sandwiches. shirou had 2 and tohsaka only had 1.

also:
>not admiring tohsaka's blushing/teasing face
>10 points from gryffindor

say, what were thosaka and shirou talking about in that scene anyway?

same ehre, the trailer really pumped me up, then I remembered the high amount of music k-on had, and I might just sit out the anime and wait for the actual music discs to come out...but... if it's season is really lacking on slice of life I might still watch (but what most likely will happen is me picking the first episode then not dropping it because I hate dropping (sup amagi brilliant park)).

  • No meaning to me, just an empty box.
I didn't know UBW was going to be split cour. Here I was enjoying a double episode thinking It'd be back in two weeks until that announcement at the end. it's not like I'm there isn't a ton of good shit waiting next season, but I'm going to be missing the many faces of Tohsaka.

I finished watching Angel Beats and thought it was great. I feel bad for not getting around to it sooner because it feels like a while has passed since I'v seen something so satisfying from beginning to end. The concept of the afterlife and how the lingering regrets of all the characters affected themselves. In atmosphere and in themes explored, the show reminds  me of Sunday Without God , not directly of course.

As for the lingering shows this season
Kokkurii-san: i'm behind and not neccessarily in the mood to continue.maybe i'll finish it ...some day
Psycho-Pass 2: i lost steam about 2/3rds of the way through. It's just dumb as hell and I can't bring my self to finishing it. Considering that Tow is also scripting Gits:Arise, it makes me less inclined to watch it after seeing this mess. This is why I hate key staff and studio changes,  never seen one that's turned out for the better. i'm already not looking forward to Yahari ore season 2
Encouragement of Climb 2:  i like watching this, but it's hard to get into the mood of watching a bunch of young girls mountaineering. When I do though, it's a pretty good pick me up.
Sehagirls: Anyone remember this. no one?eh. This was just ok, nothing to really write home about. The best arcs were probably the Virtua Fighter arc and the Space Channel 5 arc. aFter that, it was mostly flat  to mediocre in the humor department. i'm a bit disappointed that they never did a Crazy Taxi or Shenmue parody ,but then it'd be a little heavy on the dreamcast side. It felt like a watered down version of gdgd Fairies without all the ad lib bits ( which were usually the best parts!!!). At least they had some sort of a budget to make it not look like dung and the opening/ending were nice earworms.

I haven't been liking UBW so far.

It's boring. The characters feel like they are simply reading off the script of the visual novel. None of the characters are making m FEEL anything.
FSN and Zero where very powerful shows that really brought these character to life. It's so sad seeing such great animation wasted on such bad direction!

EDIT: While out of state I got to see Toonami again (I refuse to have tv like cable/satellite)

Man, they have some bloody stuff on there now! I saw they are showing Attack On Titan and Evangelion 1.11

So this irks me! Why do they not ever put Ranma on there? Evangelion  was showing 14 and 15 year old butts. It's just crazy they can show Attack on Titan and not Ranma

Speaking of Evangelion. It was on so late I didn't get to finish it. Many years ago I tried the original series and didn't care for it. I typically don't get into big Mecha anime.
But I was enjoying this. I think I want to watch it.
Isn't there like 3 versions of the show now? Which should I watch? Or should I just start from vanilla and work my way to current?

The rare instances of Barbie boobs can't be "far worse" and could easily be edited or removed.
