Earlier today I went out to take a ride on my bike.I road about 30 miles, at a fairly comfortable pace. The weather was great today. Absolutely beautiful.I just bought a new bike last week, so it of course preformed perfectly. There are few things that I enjoy quite as much as biking, and there is nothing I would have rather been doing today.Anyways, this got me to wondering what everyone else did to exercise when they had the time.I remember we were talking about it sometime last year, but it hasn't come up since. So, what do you do to exercise?Run, walk, sports, weights, etc.
I really love to play "fronton". It's a sport very simlar to squash; reflexes and speed are the key here. Ah, but my favorite sport is volleyball. I play it since the high school; I practice it 2~3 times a week since I play in the organization's team at work.I also go to the gym 5 times a week, just because I want to gain some weight... well, in fact I want to turn the fat into muscles. So far it is going good
I'm thin and a bodybuilder wannabe, but I've been getting a little flaccid since I havn't done any kind of exercise in a month. I used to box.
I'm practicing salsa between 6 and 15 hours a week, that's my only exercise apart from walking 30 minutes per day..
Well i'm on the cross country team, and I do that durning the school year. In the summer, I ride my bike and train for cross country.
I grip the neighborhood strips on my scooter (kick-style, that is...), a bike, or by original means: walking.Anytime the Neighborhood Good Ol' Boys come outdoors, we play football, basketball, run football routes and practice our hands/agility, play a good ol' game of Knockout in basketball or any other kind of game, command the streets with various forms of wheeled transportation, or just walk.Car washing can give your hands and arms a workout as well, chaps, scrubbing each part with a circular motion...it makes your hands/arms hurt a bit.
I mostly do weight training, push ups, sit ups, and stuff like that. Haven't been doing it very much lately though.

Push and sit ups in the morning.Back to some sort of fitness center two or three times a week once I'm back in a bigger town again.
I am playing Basketball since about 10 years, but didn't do it often this year Problem is, that I got fatter and lazyer times with Slam Dunks are over (cause of 15 kg too much )so I changed more to the 3Point Player.

P.o.t.S. said, May 19, 2008, 02:39:31 amwhat's the English name for the legs one... stand ups? squats maybe?Just got back from a 55 mile bike ride through the mountains. The weather was great. The ride was fantastic.Only problem was that I hit a big rock about half-way through and fell. And it wasn't an ordinary fall. It was one of those falls you get to think about as you're falling."Oh shit. I'm falling. Yeah, I'm definantly going to land on my side. This is going to hurt."I skidded a good ways when I hit the ground. As a result, I have road(gravel) burn from my left ankle to my buttcheek, up my left arm, and I'm missing a toenail on my left foot. It also messed up my brakeswitch and gearswitch on the left side of my bike.I'm still pulling gravel out of my arm.It was still a great ride though.

I was blazing from my backyard (with no brakes mind you) and as soon as I came around to the front I tried to use my bare feet to stop. Needless to say that wasn't enough at that point, and I flew right into my front gate. Funny enough I couldn't stop laughing about it. lol
Push/sit ups, weight training, 30 minute walks. Maybe basketball twice a year. Probably tennis once a year. I used to dance, but stopped this year.I haven't done anything in a week though, I just finished my exams.
King of MUGEN said, May 17, 2008, 01:38:21 amLift weights about four times out of the week. Cardio once a week maybe. It's better for you health, but not aesthetics to do it the other way around."look ma! I can bench presss 200 pounds but I can't go up two flights of stairs."
It'd be better for health and looks if I did cardio, but I'm lazy. I should still be able to beat a 7 minute mile without going to the edge.
Ex...er...cise? What is this thing you speak of?Mine is about the same as POT's but without the squats and my job is at least a little physical. Picking up servers and PC's is hard work
