Spoiler: Choices (click to see content)
- Gave Faith the money. cause duh
- Lied to Beast Since Beauty and Beast have the most stable marriage in all of Fabledom, and from the knowledge of her character from the comics, Beauty isn't cheating on Beast or anything like that, or up to something nefarious. Both things that I think Bigby would consider and make him either lie or stay completely out of it.
- Went to Prince Lawrence's before Toad's. Thought the Woodsman was back at his apartment or something, and going nuts. Didn't consider that whoever was over there would go after Toad's son; I was more concerned with what could be a dead or dying Lawrence. And hey, it all worked out; going to Toad's first doesn't prevent Toad and TJ from being attacked, but it does always result in Lawrence dying, so suck it 75% or players, you made the wrong choice! I saved everyone! SUCKAS!!!
- Chose Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum for prime suspect but I almost immediately regretted it because they seem like side players. I doubt it's the pimp but among the listed suspects he's the best choice, I think.
- Pursued Tweedle Dee over the Woodsman. The Woodsman is a violent drunk, but doesn't appear to be much more than that. His little sob speech did make me think that he might be laying it on a bit thick, but the Tweedle's are obviously up to something bad and the Woodsman is probably not the murderer anyway. Plus, those fuckers knocked me out. >:[
- Did not tear Grendel's arm off Not even Bigby is that douchey. I think. Probably.
And I felt really really bad when I did for my second playthrough!
Spoiler: Theories, contains comic spoilers (click to see content)
So, Snow. She's very prominently alive throughout the comics. How? Will her massive popularity be enough to keep even her severed alive? Or is there some kinda magic thing going on with the decapitations? There's a story from folklore about a girl who always wore a ribbon throughout her life and her husband kept asking about why she never could take it off and I dunno the end of the story is that the ribbon somehow comes off and it turns out it was keeping her head on and I don't really remember the story at all.
So anyway Faith had a ribbon on, drew attention to it, then her severed head was found with said ribbon stuffed into her mouth, and the cut that decapitated was made by something either very sharp or something with magic behind it. SO, as Jango said, I am thinking, that it all has to do with that piece of folklore, maybe. And that that is the key to Snow's revival maybe; like maybe her head is still alive because of some magic head remover that also lets one reattach one's head with a ribbon. And so Faith had her head removed and reattached with a ribbon, and basically was being ransomed for the cure or whatever. And since she couldn't get the money, off with her head.
But then why Snow? Why the placement at the Woodlands for both heads? It doesn't really make much sense at all, but I dunno, it's a thought. I mean, maybe not the circumstances, but the whole ribbon, head thing, I think that has some merit? Maybe?
