What are your favorite mis-pronunciations in fighting games??

I personally love Raiden, from Mortal Kombat, Superman move when he shouts "Get out of the Car!!" or "Your Mother is from LA!!" Also notables are War Machine's "Eat My Tomato!!" upon his hyper beam and Akuma's "Starbucks Sausages!!" in SSFIV upon his Raging Demon. King from CvS also sounds like she says "Dry Soap" if you ask me. :mmhmm:

I'm also not sure if a thread similar to this was created so I figured why the hell not. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

i dunno if it's just me but for some reason the japanese version of arashi from blood warrior totally says 'skeet on a nugget' when he does a throw

I'm also under the impression that people keep neglecting data from the game, do you guys know how PotS made his original characters? He actually studied every single game he referenced, down to the core. Doing this properly requires understanding how the original system was made, not just winging it.

I also completely forgot to mention that Cammy shouts "Spiderbubble" if you have her voice set to Japanese. She is supposed to say Spiral Arrow but it sounds as if her lips are swelled up or something.

The first KoF I played was '99 for PSX. I could never beat Krizalid. Part of the reason was because I couldn't stop laughing when he said said "OLD NAVY!" all the time. That was 11 years ago... it still stuck with me.

I finally defeated him with Athena... the rest is history. :sweetheart:

Also, the MK Mondegreens were done on purpose. I guess it was to try to sound impressive.

Idk if this counts as one, but London's music from CvS2 is usually something of a fave. ("This is Tuna with Bacon, all the time" )

However, if I had to think of mispronounced moves, I just remember Ryo from CvS2 having one. (I am quite new to Japanese language at the time when I got the game... like when I was around 10 or 9 years old, but I could've swore I heard him say "Get along little doggy!" from his Kyokugen no Ougi super)

Also, just to get this out of the way... if it even counts as well: Fireboy's "Where are my dragged queen" anyone?

I wouldn't consider that a infinite since you have to make your opponent bounce of the wall and if you do it on the wrong side of the stage the stage interaction would activate.

You're referring to Tekken Tag's Yoshimitsu Stage BGM, yea?? I believe it was "No Shame."

And speaking of which, you could get a lot of mondegreens from that score. In Law's Stage (Original/Arcade Mix), the voice sounds like it's saying "Time for slice of pay attention."

In Xiaoyu's Stage (Original/Arcade Mix), you could swear that the voice is muttering "Blue Cheese; Ain't my Cheese." That kinda cracks me up every time I hear it.
