What the title says. Choose a SF(and/or another) character(or more) of your liking from every generation of the entire series... excluding EX.

5th Generation?: Your Thoughts and Ideas on what should be.

NOTE: The character has to debut in their respective generation, and Final Fight and Saturday Night Slam Masters/Muscle Bomber shares the same Universe as Street Fighter... as well as Captain Commando(but let's not talk about that).

Favorite: Sagat
Least favorite: None
No characters were too special, to be honest.

SF2:
Favorite: Chun Li
Least favorite: Absolutely none
All of them are excellent, even the ones from SF1 are much more awesome here. I'd put all of them in the favorite if it wasn't for Chun Li, who is in a whole different league and takes the spot herself alone.

SFA:
Favorite: None of the new ones, I think. I'd say Charlie and Mika if forced to
Least favorite: Rose and Sakura
Fortune tellers and schoolgirls are lame concepts for SF. They marked the decline of quality in character design in the series and the definitive crack of the story, which has sucked balls since after SF2.

SF3:
Favorite: Alex, Makoto
Least favorite: Remy
Excellent work on almost all the "human" characters. Not too fond of the freaks, but I can't say I completely dislike them. Iori's son is lame.

SF4:
Favorite: Hakan, Abel
Least favorite: Rufus, Juri
Not too good. I whish Hakan and Abel were a bit different, but they have to be my favorites. Viper has kind of grown on me because she's a full action heroine in the vein of Chun and Cammy, but she's nothing special (I wonder what Guile thinks about the fact that most "heroes" in SF are women). Rufus and Juri are terrible, in the bad way.

Final Fight:
Favorite: None in particular, it's a very solid cast
Least favorite: None
Legendary trio. Gotta love Poison, too.

Slammasters:
Favorite: Gotta say Black Widow for being the only woman and having a pretty unique design
Least favorite: None
Very solid cast, too.

EX:
Favorite: Difficult to pick one or two
Least favorite: Area, Nanase, Vulcano Rosso
Not bad character design overall, even if inconsistent, which makes sense considering there are quite some new additions. I love Blair, Darun, Hokuto, Sharon... Skullomania is pretty cool in a way. Kairi's design is cheap as fuck since EX2. I don't like small girls or pimps.

You included Final Fight and Slammasters for being "in the same universe", and Sakura was playable in a Rival Schools game, so personally I think they are the same universe, even if it Capcom hasn't said so. I mean, there's nothing too out of the ordinary going on (by Street Fighter standards) that makes it obviously an alternate universe.

Maybe guest characters? (Specifically Scorpion and Terry Bogard)

In case you haven't guessed, I wouldn't call myself the biggest fan of Street Fighter's character designs.

But of course, it's the only series I enjoy the gameplay portion of :S . You can see the conundrum, but I still have hope for SF vs/X whatever series that has good designs. As soon as they finish making Street Fighter X Series that is as bad as Street Fighter in regards to designs.

SF1: Geki cause people won't STFU about him being Ibuki's dad or Vega's trainer or some shit.
SF2: I love everyone from this game, but if I had to pick one it would be Blanka.
SFA: Again, this is a hard pick to make cause I like almost everyone.  But if I HAD to pick one it would probably just be Sodom out of process of elimination.
SF3: Twelve.
SF4: Juri. 
SFEX: Area.
Slam Masters: None, I like everybody.

I haven't played the game, but everyone has a pretty good design.

Favorite: The trio/Rolento/Sodom. Don't make me choose.
Least: Poison. Belger was also pretty lackluster.

Also, a lot of you are doing this wrong. You have to choose a character that made their first appearance in that series. Saying Cody or Guy was your favorite in the Alpha series doesn't make sense since they debuted in Final Fight.

Rival Schools:
Favorite: Akira, Kyoko
Least favorite: The tennis player and the violin player from the sequel, I guess
Akira is just brilliant, starting from her surprising fighting style, as you would expect "him" to use some street brawling instead of kung fu. Kyoko on the other hand is a very cliché and unoriginal character, but that doesn't stop her from being damm sexy. I know, it's weak of me to put her as a favorite. I don't have any extreme dislikes in this series, as I generally treat it as an "everything goes" type. I just picked the not-fighters, non-sportive girls as least favorite.

Also, a lot of you are doing this wrong. You have to choose a character that made their first appearance in that series. Saying Cody or Guy was your favorite in the Alpha series doesn't make sense since they debuted in Final Fight.

Lol 'somewhat'? I like how he pretty much said Kusaregedo had no personality judging by his ratings, yet Akuma is off the charts

Kusaregedo is one of the weirdest designs i've seen, so you can't really blame him.

Also, he previously stated that Orignal Zero was badass. Now he's "meh, he's pretty cool."

The only thing the guy at Fighter's Genereation is really good for is the hi-res art everyone uses for their portraits.

Not going to ask about that incident, but it sounds like an interesting story

He has a lot of history and pictures, but yeah, his rants and the such can be off-base.  He gave MvC2 an innovation of 10 out of 10 which doesn't make any sense.  Plus there's this quote about Tekken 6:
The fact that many titles in this next gen of video games seem to somewhat "play themselves," technical masterpieces like Tekken 6 that require more work & practice will ignorantly be written-off and overlooked by many lazier/less-talented gamers in the long run. It's 1000 times easier to find a reason to say "I don't like Tekken 6" than to become a skilled player.
It's easy to hate the game if you're a noob, and many will quit before they even start. It's a sad truth, but also a bittersweet one since the characters of Tekken will seem to magically "come to life" when under the control of a skillful player.
Truth is an actual state with fact and/or reality.  This isn't it.  If he just stated it as an opinion instead of making it a fact...

I like Area actually, though for the reason that I pwned everyone with her in EX2 Plus. In terms of character I prefer Nanase and Palum more.
