Bloody hell, that D group :o will take a risk and mention which may pass according to what I´ve seen from some countries:

Group A: Brazil & Croatia, Mexico hasn´t done anything to be considered. Probably in the World Cup they´ll improve.

Group B: Spain & Chile, some games from Netherlands have been really disappointing. If Chile believe in themselves, they could pass.

Group C: Colombia & Ivory Coast, could be Japan instead of Ivory Coast seems the level of both in gameplay is pretty similar. Colombia need to play the way they were playing in the Southamerica knockouts. That way they could win the group.

Group D: Shit, this one is difficult. I would say Italia & Uruguay. England has been pretty disappointing for the last 3 World Cups IMO Costa Rica got no chance, they really need to get inspired to even have a possibility.

Group E: France has a great opportunity in this. It would be a major disappointment if they don´t pass. I would say France & Ecuador.

Group F: Argentina & Bosnia. Pack it up.

Group G: Germany & Portugal, United States doesn´t seem to have a chance cause this a different new level compared to CONCACAF. Ghana can have a chance if Portugal starts playing horribly (They have shown some terrible matches).

Group H: Belgium & Russia. This one is pretty interesting thought cause South Korea power up in the World Cups. Algeria can do something if Belgium & Russia subestimate them. I wouldn´t do that.

YES, I LIKE FOOTBALL. I´M SO HYPED RIGHT NOW!!!

Football is pretty darn fun, and the World Cup is a great event.
I just wish it wasn't being held here in Brazil.

But it will be bloody fun to watch it.

Exactly. Mexico, if they put themselves together, has a very high chance of passing to the next round. They were kinda lucky, if you disagree just look at Costa Rica. They´re dead before even starting.

France got the easiest group.

How surprising.  ::)

No. Argentina got the easiest group.

This is the only moment where football catches my attention.

Group A : Brazil-Croatia-Mexico-Cameroon This group will be tough for the second place, and even then, that one will say hello and goodbye after second round begins. The group will be dominated by Brazil (worse that can happen to them is a tie vs Mexico since they've played against them more than with Cameroon and Croatia. Not to mention Cameroon and Croatia, like Mexico are not coming in their best moment either).

Group B : Spain-Netherlands-Chile-Australia This group is to say it will be squash for poor Australia, since Chile, Netherlands are Spain are just that good, however, keep in mind Australia won't have the same pressure from the media all those 3 nations will have (especially Spain). And they have proven to be a VERY uncomfortable rival (they already have experience, so, if media thinks Australia is going to be a pushover, they're dead wrong. They're the nation with the least chances to qualify to second round, yes, but I'm just wishing Australia give some nasty surprises. Like said, don't underestimate Australia. Can give you an unexpected (and embarrassing) loss).

Group C : Colombia-Greece-Ivory Coast-Japan Pretty close group. Colombia comes inspired, but this can be the chance for Ivory Coast to qualify to second round. Japan has a pretty good generation this year, and Greece is no one to be underestimated either. Tough group, though by personal preference: Colombia and Japan, please.

Group D : Uruguay-Costa Rica-England-Italy Oh, my... The Group of death... I don't even know what to say. Though if Costa Rica trips Uruguay, they could dream. They could. If it helps... England is NOT on their best moment.

Group E : Switzerland-Ecuador-France-Honduras On paper, this looks like an easy group for France, but there are still shades from the disastrous 2010 team. Switzerland and Ecuador could take this group.

Group F : Argentina-Bosnia and Herzegovina-Iran-Nigeria Argentina couldn't have asked for an easier group. This is kind like Group A, a race for second place, though Group F's panorama is better than Group A's.

Group G : Germany-Ghana-United States-Portugal The other Group of death for me, especially since no one wants to face Germany. Nice group Ghana and USA had to share. This will be dominated by Germany and Portugal, unless they have a 2002 France/Argentina tier performance.

Group H :  Belgium-Algeria-Russia-South Korea I think this is the most accessible group for me. Algeria's chances are limited, but they have a chance. So does South Korea.

I suggest we turn this into a sticky when june comes.

Social situation in Brazil is a really big mess right now thought. This World Cup has been wrapped in bad habits and corruption according to the people.
