Final results: Roger Federer/Rafael Nadal/Lionel Messi sprite contest

Hello.
Since some of you were interested in this contest, but the topic was closed, I suggest doing it all the same and forgetting about Madre's words and please try not to attack each other. It's just a constest and it will be only a contest.

Choose one of the following guys, make your sprite and everybody will vote the best sprite done in a poll. I will not be the only who chooses the winner, it will be everybody.

time: one month (till 20th July 2009)

You can choose between Rafael Nadal (suggested by Felo_Llop), Roger Federer and Lionel Messi (real people are more difficult to be sprited):

We will make a ranking. And we'll make a contest once a month. In that way the winner will have 25 points,
the second 20 points
the third 15 points
the fourth 13 points
the fifth 11 points
the sixth 10 points
the 7th 9 points
the 8th 8 points
the 9th 7 points
the 10th 6 points
the 11th 5 points
the 12th 4 points
the 13th 3 points
the 14th 2 points
the 15th 1 point

So in that way there will be a ranking of the best spriters in mugenguild that want to participate. Because I sure there are great spriters that will not take part, and thus will have no ranking position.

If you want to run a competition to compare good sprite art, that's fair enough. If you're running the competition to indulge some pretentious wanker with a superiority complex looking to start a pissing match, you're doing it for the wrong reasons.

It's for two reasons: 1- to have fun.
2- to compare good sprite art. (as you said).

Then if someone has a a superiority complex, well that's not my fault. Is a problem they have to solve to improve their lifes. So, don't pay attention to those guys who believe to be superior to the rest. Let's just have some fun.

Thanks. And I s'pose I should ask before it's too late: are there colour/size restrictions in the contest or can anyone just do whatever with these guys? 'Cause I can get pretty retarded with colours if not told otherwise.

well, but I think this would be difficult to rank, cause sometimes KOF styled sprites are harder than Hires (ggxx) ones, cause the lack of details is not always good... by the other hand, too much detail could mess your sprite...

not sure if I'm gonna enter, but I will see soon...
