I want to share this fix with everyone, because the original was really quite lacking. Kyo is the heart and soul of every KOF game, so he must be good at least!

1. His DFDF+punch super had the figure-flames staying on screen longer than they should on several occasions. I modified the destroyself in statedef 22300 to fix this.
2. His crouching animation was messed up. I fixed the .air file (anim 10 and 11) to regulate his breathing speed and correct the animation sequence (roughly)
3. His neomax (DFDF+2kick - statedef 3800) had a wrong posset for the white-screen-helper (statedef 23820 in helpers.cns). You could actually see the edges of the white helper against the black screen) when u hit the enemy towards the left side of the screen. The bug doesn't happen when enemy is hit to the right.
4. Missing anims added to DFDF+punch's flame pillar, and timing reduced to 2 ticks from 3. Also added one more explod for this.
5. Fixed his buggy F+a kick (there was no anim 310 for it; now there is)
6. Fixed all (I think) normal, super, hyper guardsparks and positionings.
7. z button does not activate hyperdrive on ground or in air anymore. It activates A+B recovery roll. Hyperdrive is a+y as usual.
8. Fixed DFDF+punch's pillar of flame having no red clsn/hitdef.
9. Adjusted uppercut clsns
10. Fixed dash kick's velset trigger and value (followup from DF+punch)
11. Fixed super startup spark positionings
12. Fixed blue cloud bindtime for EX moves
13. Added nothitby for 2 animelems for EX dash/grab move (HCB+kick)
14. Added Guard evade's spark
15. Made DFDF+punch super's flame pillar ontop of kyo's body,and increased the position by x=20
16. Added combo into DFDF+punch super from F+a kick
17. Fixed DF+y's combo timeframe and landing posset/velsets
18. Gave "Addition" to DFDF+punch super's pillar flame
19. Fixed sound for DFDF+punch super.

20. EX moves now have blue glowing instead of red glowing palfx.
21. Fixed dizzy sound and combos

22. Set the loop for his intro flames and DBDF+punch flames to 1 animelem later. It becomes more smooth now. Small file size too
23. Fixed the EX super's (DBDF+punch) sound, and added red aura.
24. Removed black background for supers. Should be color=0 (grey).
25. EX/normal DBDF+punch super has bgpalfx fadeout timing (when you hold the button).

nope lol there's nothing huge to update for him anyway.

Just updated the fix again. Gonna leave it at this for now. Enjoy the fix2.

Fix3 is up. Changes on first post.

What's left:
1. combos from F+a have yet to be implemented for some special moves
2. Fix the weird dizzy sound

Awesome. Your fix patch definitely made neko's Kyo a lot smoother and more fun to play with as compared to before :D Mind doing the same for his K's as well? =)

Fix4:

He just lacks the puff of smoke when he lands on the ground. It's not in the .sff, and I'm lazy to put it in xD.

I personally think you should go through the SFF and properly align all of his sprites, cause that's his BIGGEST issue. The terrible misalignment. Most of the system stuff is fine, but man.

I still cant do some combos from F+a like I usually could in KOF (F+a into QCF+LK or QCF+HK is the one giving me the most trouble) has that been fixed yet?
I will force feed Dark Pit right into your ass if we ever play on wi fi.

sprite alignments are very tedious. I'm working on another char for now. Will be back when i'm free

no it hasn't. I found out that if you do a normal punch, then F+a, then do your DF+punch, it works. If no normal move before, then the combo can't start. I've no idea why this is so.

There has been a new update to his Nests Kyo XIII, but my patch is still for the 2nd latest update by him.
This time it's the full file For those who don't have that version

1. Fixed DBDF+punch/2punch's explod timing in the .air file (previously it disappeared too slowly towards the end)
2. Fixed 3 wrong sprites for 5100 and 5110 states
