Games you wish had gotten sequels?

Going through my backlog and marking off some finished games I came across a pretty good shooter, not the uniquest in a generation made up of them, but it had cool mechanics having to with changing time in certain areas that affected the level, a some what interesting plot with a few different ending and a lot nicely done gunplay. Which you could mix and match with upgradeable powers and said weapons as you played through it. The game was Singularity. Sadly it kinda flew under the rader because of Activisons want to push Call of Duty in marketing, like it needed it, rather then another new IP that given the chance could have taken a possible foothold. The game isn't God like or anything, but I'd love to see a sequel and i think a few ending left off to one.

So, do you have any games that are currently shelved after a single release that never got a sequel or perhaps a game series, despite its popularity getting ignored that you would like to see come back for a go during this next generation?

A few other ones I would like to see proper sequels are Matt Hazard and Shadows of the Damned.

I'd throw a couple bucks in the proverbial hat for Super Dragonball Z. It gets praised a lot, but when I bought it the day it came out it was no where what I was expecting from a DBZ game at the time, so far at the time I had played nothing but mainly Budokai, Tenkachi(I think this was out in 2005 as well, my memories hazy) and a few of the Japanese ones I had friends emulate. The inputs, open world, but grounded fighting style it had was crazy. I sucked at it, but it had great stuff like the ability to use others characters moves. If it isn't already, I hope they release it under downloadable PS2 games.

if they ever do a thing for psn with super dbz i hope they at least include the online multiplayer, without the arcade component the game got boring fast.

I wouldn't consider that a infinite since you have to make your opponent bounce of the wall and if you do it on the wrong side of the stage the stage interaction would activate.

I need to pickup my physical copies of these games again. I hoped deep down though that if the PSN port of Godhand and even Okami sold well we would maybe see a chance of getting proper sequels. Baring that Okamiden wasn't a true sequel to Okami, which I guess it was? Whatever, a numbered sequel then. Need to play Okakiden I guess and finish Okami HD...and with that I continue adding to that damn backlog.

I know Super DBZ didn't have one when it launched, but did that Capcom vs SNK 2 keep the online component it had in the PSN rerelease? If so they could do it. I can't imagine such an old game would be that hard to implement decent online code for, heck throw it on GGPO, if its possible with the engine. Maybe even do some sort of HD pack that includes DBZ; Infinite World, Sagas(I KNOW I KNOW BUT IT NEEDS A THIRD GAME) and Super DBZ. Toss in online components for all and put it up for $50 or whatever equivalent and I would buy it day one.

Singularity was a good game with an interesting concept i loved that game , and fighters megamix 2 would be nice from AM2.
