I'm also under the impression that people keep neglecting data from the game, do you guys know how PotS made his original characters? He actually studied every single game he referenced, down to the core. Doing this properly requires understanding how the original system was made, not just winging it.

I kind of feel like Okami was good enough and big enough that it wouldn't really benefit from a sequel, I'd have wanted them to go on and do a similar game with a completely different story and setting, y'know?

We're getting a new Arkham game this year, apparently!

I kinda forgot about Breakdown and Syphon Filter: Logan's Shadow. The latter had a cliffhanger ending and I really wanted to know what happened after.

Thanks for reminding me another game that came out on the original Xbox, its name may of been Breakdown. First person combat, pretty good story and a interesting endboss fight. May of had some people comparing Mirrors Edge to it for some reason.

Haha, I remember that game, I totally forgot about that one. I had awesome times with that one as well.
Talking about these old games seriously makes me want to go out and buy a Xbox for nostalgia sake.

Actraiser..it got a sequel but that one is better forgotten.

TMNT Turtles Tournament Fighters, the maybe best fighting game ever based on a cartoon series.

Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks, the first Mk spinoff game which was worthy to play through. Its co-op mode was super fun too.

Guilty Gear X ..okay it got a ton of upgrades but no real sequel yet.

Shenmue 2.
