I'm shocked by guilty gear. I guess it's better than putting up Clayfighters LOL. But I don't get why it ranked so high.

MK should be listed higher also. I mean the stop motion bit when it was new was a revolutionary deal. Plus the horror caused moms everywhere to shake in there bible thumping clogs.

Not to mention the impact MK1/2 had on fighting games at the time...though that resulted in Street Fighter: The Movie video game (which wasn't all that bad compared to the PSX one) and Tattoo Assassins (which WAS all that bad...but had some pretty stages. :\)

I don't play it in versus myself, but when you consider that each character is pretty much like a game (or groove) of its own, and it still ends up balanced, it easily diserves a spot in any top 10.  Oh and it looks and sounds pretty.  It's a dream Mugen haha.

Could not possibly agree with you more!  I reeeeally got into Virtua Fighter on the Saturn (Virtua Fighter Remix, Fighters Megamix; you name it I played the crap out of it).  Recent Virtua Fighters however just don't interest me for the same reasons.  It needs new interesting features... or anything new other than more extreme button combinations to keep me going.  I also agree that its physics engine needs a SERIOUS upgrade.

As subjective as this top-10 may be (and it absolutely is), I concur with nearly all of it.

Bah, that guy who put together that list doesn't know shit about fighting games and his reasoning's are pretty lame. I pretty much agree with the games they had listed though, but he listed them for the wrong reasons. Although I would of included Darkstalkers and Dead Or Alive.
