Well, looks like Higurashi got the same treatment as Little Busters. We will have it available for the PSVita in the future (and PS3 too, but I really find it pointless to get a PS3 version of it). Sure hope Umineko gets the same too.

unlike little bastards, or sadly, umineko, higurashi has got a lot of side stories made for different ports and new stories keep on getting added to it, so the newest version can be pretty definite (iir for this port new arcs were mentioned).

afaik, the pachinko game got two or three new arcs that are not playable outside fo them, ther eis also teh "zombie" arc which might or nto be part of the pachinko ones.

Well...they do have a zombies mode hidden in Exo Survival. It's the last map you unlock.

So here we have it finally, people. After Ocarina of Time 3D, we have Majora's Mask 3D. Ocarina of Time 3D was a really good port, so I'm really hyped about Majora's Mask port too. Also, Europe gets a special edition because we deserve it LOL.

I heard the news yesterday.

I wonder if they have an extra challenge mode, like a Master's Quest.

Out of curiousity, will they be able to alter the dungeons by a lot? All four dungeons are pretty complex and it is not easy to alter them without ruining their main gimmicks.

In the Ocarina of Time 3D, there is a Master Quest mode where the world is mirrored, enemies do double damage, and the dungeons are altered for greater difficulty. For example, the new Deku Tree dungeon features the giant deku babas that you face in the Forest Temple.

Those things nearly killed me.

Master Quest doesn't come from OoT 3D, it came with Wind Waker (in a limited print bonus and then it was repackaged a couple of times, I think, like the compilation on Gamecube). It was pretty rare : it was supposed to come out for the 64DD but that tanked way too fast and they gave up. OoT 3D simply gave both versions. (though it seems the mirroring was exclusive to the OoT3D version of Master Quest, I don't remember that particular detail)
After looking around, it seems like OoT 3D had nearly nothing but minor changes. MM3D is very likely going to be similar, just some texture enhancements and added depth.

One thing they don't mention is that the menu interface is more user friendly. It's so much easier to equip items now compared to how it was in the console version, and the menu is far better organized. Also, aiming can be done manually with the motion track system of the 3DS too, apart from the usual control of the camera with the stick. This makes aiming objects that are close to each other much much easier, but aiming to objects that are separated by a large distance is terrible with it. Fortunately you can still aim with the stick for those, so it's a matter of knowing which one to use at which moment. So IMO shooting in first person is much much easier.

But as you can see, apart from the Boss Challenge mode, there's really nothing special added, which tends to be common in ports (Tales of Abyss is another example of that). Still, there's nothing bad about this port IMO, and being able to play Ocarina of Time anywhere is something I really appreciate.

Though I have to say, Navi is even more annoying in this version because of the constant "You need to take a break Link!" constant messages. Wish I could disable them.

Yeah the not-so-subtle Nintendo trying to look out for me crap though Navi was just silly. I was also disappointed with the censorship even if it made Ganondorf a Slimer from Ghost Busters. Other than that it's a great port.
