Retcon? He clearly teleports away when you beat him in the last battle, wounded or not. He has the same teleport effect when he disappears.

I'm not asking for a whole Vergil story campaign, just one cutscene that's like "lol okay here's Vergil" and then have him be actually designed for DMC4 engine and not a straight DMC3 port.

I didn't know that Minecraft had a story mode, let alone getting one done by freaking Telltale.

Let's see... this, Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, The Wolf Among Us (which I'd love to see a Season 2 of that), Tales from the Borderlands... they have a very full plate there. Sam and Max might be the single farthest thing on their minds right now.
