The danger is greater than you think. Greenland has already shifted considerably and the other problem is a glacier in Antarctica. They have no idea when these things will go. Every time they make a prediction the rate changes. This means it can happen tomorrow or in a 50 years. The problem is very real, but unless we plan on refreezing the lakes that are forming under the glaciers it really doesn't matter anymore. We waited to long to act.

It's now impossible that melting happens, at least in that part.- Pollution: Nature = 80% of the actual pollution, Humans = 20% of actual pollution. The problem is that our pollution is leaving some products that must not be in there. For you to have an overall idea, a single volcanic explosion is the same as ALL the cars during a year. Do you want a funny example? Ireland. Ireland doesn't pass the Kyoto Protocole, not for the industry or cars, no. It's beacause of the fucking cows and their methan explosions(farts and shit).- Melting Arctic: Oceans controls the Global Weather. If you change some currents, or decrease/increase some valors(such salinity and temperature which determines the density), these currents changes. So as you may thought, if you put "Normal" water coming from the polar melting, the salinity values decrease. So the currents change. Now, the Labrador current is disappearing and it's estimated that in 50 years will complete out. How does this will affect us? For giving an example, extreme weather. In UK, for example, you'll get a big ice layer while in summer will be something like a desert. But that will happen in 50 years,s o relax, people .- Don't worry about the planet. It can handle with it. Be affraid by the human race.- About the map: That's what exactly happens if the island of Gomera falls into the Sea(it's a volcanic chimney). A SO BIG Tsunami will be as result. But big big. Around(estimated value) of 600 m tall. You sited cows as a natural contributor to pollution. When cows are a man made creature. Also the farming of them has increased their numbers more than they would in nature. Remember that farming is not natural and is the number one source of our pollution. Everything from the cow farts to the trucks that move them around and the electricity used. People hear farmer and image a guy with a pitch fork, when the truth is he is a suit wearing businessman.
