You could always go to your teachers and the likes, and get your ass kicked because of being a pussy.
OR! You could tell your parents, and actually be a pussy. Chances of being publically smited increase too.
OR! You could try to use your words, 50-50 chance of getting your ass kicked anyway.
OR! You could fight back and feel good about yourself. Try not to stab the guy to death though.

But you said high school was awesome for you. Also, there's several kids that are bullied constantly, it isn't a one time thing that can be shrugged off after one confrontation. How can we be sure what those kids are going through? Stress can get to you very badly sometimes.

I got bullied every now and then, not constantly, and it was a great deal of stress.

Being a Bullied teenager in a period where your self image and self steem is developing is something that might mess you up for life, make you a non-functional social individual if you let it happen. Not everybody is as strong to get over it easily, or even at all.

I got bullied all through Middle School, I seriously wanted to kill like a handful of people... brutally....

But now in High School I stopped giving a shit.

junior high was so full of fights that is very hard to say someone speficifically got bullied; in high school we were too busy trying to get drunk/into the chicks' panties to give bullying any importance, sure, some guys would get "bullied" was that would never last more than a few weeks because it either evolved to a fight (mostly junior high) or people stuopped giving a fuck (mostly high school).

Do I seriously have to list ways to deal with bullying that do not involve stabbing them?

You could always go to your teachers and the likes, and get your ass kicked because of being a pussy.

5 dollars say you'd pick the first or second option. From what I have seen the third is bullshit and never works, unless you're really pathetic and the bully isn't so bad. The fourth one worked the counted times I had to pick.

Bullying is a really common thing at black schools (middle and high) and the only way to respond is violence. Period. Any other way is social suicide, and I assume its the same everywhere else.

I was being bullied myself in my later middle school years and after some months of preparation (Working out with my father at his gym) I eventually approached him, fought him and won. Now I haven't had any issues with anyone since.

May as well add my two cents on this. There was only one bully at my school, or rather, only one kid who specifically tried to beat others up / steal money from other kids / generally be a thug. While I'm not about to name any names, this was not a smart kid.

The first time he tried to pick a fight with me was in first grade. I had a habit of reading whichever book I was reading at the time while leaning against the outside walls. The "fight" ended with him having a rather bloodied face and a concussion, and myself unharmed. All I had done was step to the side to avoid his attempt at tackling me. Any attempt he made at fighting me then on basically followed the same deal. It took until puberty hit for him to stop trying to fight me by tackling me against the walls. Even then, he tried it one last time freshman year of high school. He eventually realized how stupid it made him look.

... I'm not gonna name names. He did eventually learn, and you know what? the whole thing makes me sound like more of an ass than I usually am. Oh well.

That said, while violence works, intelligent application of violence is much better than an "honorable" fight if the victim is notably smaller. I was a really lucky kid, holy shit.

Is calling the police not an option?
Whether they're reliable or not in where a person is ... that may vary....
Or do you guys just believe its more satisfying to solve through violence?

It sounds like you guys had a rough school experience.
Though I have experienced verbal abuse, I've never had any physical bullying problems like this, nor have I witnessed any.
The only time I have heard of such an extent of bullying is through news stories.
Am I just lucky? Or is the generation you guys are from more violent?

Yet he proceeded to stab him 12 times...
It defense it might have been, but I doubt that many stabs was necessary to make that person no longer a threat.
I have no knowledge as to how much damage a pocket knife deals to a person that is stabbed by it, but I would guess the guy would have probably been already dead by 7 or so stabs. (A random guess based on absolutely no knowledge at all.)

Some parts of this article just doesn't feel fully....... correct?

Again, stabbing once isn't going to do much of a job, unless you KNOW what you're aiming for, and either way, that will come across as premeditated.

HAHAHA. Seriously ? Call the police for bullying ? Like there's anything they can or will do ? What should they do, put you in protective custody ? Give you bodyguards ?

Violence is not the only option but anyone that ever been in any situation of violence like this knows its a justifiable options.

Like walt said,  you can talk to the kid parents, you can talk to your parents, but in the end the problem is still going to be there and there is always the chance the kid parents are the type to pick up fights, the kids werent bred bullies accidentaly.

Kid had the fight announced to him, they chanted about it, he tried to avoid it, they still went after him, if he stabbed someone to death with those circunstances the other kid had it coming.

you believe in miracles and god signs and all that stuff, think of it as god telling him several times it wasnt a good idea to go bully the kid and he ignoring all the signs.
Also a sign to the parents to stop breeding little pieces of shit.

I used to get bullied a lot. When i got to highschool two guys on my class tried to start shit all the time, so i started doing it back. Randomly punched them in the back, hid the other once backbag and rugby tackled him once. Never had shit from them again.

But stabbing? Sheez.

Yeah, that works.

No witty quotes though.
