Was simply throwing out a thought I had on the top of my head after reading through the thread. I was serious though.

But still, depending on the seriousness of the bullying, wouldn't it be possible to call in the police to, not act as protection, but to take legal action against the bully?
Or are they really not useful at all?

Well if you get actually beaten up it's punishable by law, yes, of course if it reaches a point of serious physical injuries that's not even in the realm of bullying anymore, it's plain and simple aggravated assault. But actual "bullying" (as opposed to actual aggravated physical assault) is easily just on the limit of what would fall in that case or get ignored ; even if, over the course of a scholar year, it gets really stressful and adds up to the same as a serious assault. If it's not a straight-up assault, there's not much the police can do. It's not a given the police has the time to look into every one of these cases, or that they actually get enough to charge them.
If I struggled to the end of my determination, to the end of my way of life with my followers, if the result is ruin, then this ruin is inevitable. Grieve. Shed tears. But you cannot regret.

I just don't want this to start a fad to where it's cool to stab bullies. This case is an exception based on the severity but I don't want to see a string of homicides in high schools for this. It'd probably be bad publicity.

Being a Bullied teenager in a period where your self image and self steem is developing is something that might mess you up for life, make you a non-functional social individual if you let it happen. Not everybody is as strong to get over it easily, or even at all.

Ignore them, is the best. They just want to be a bunch of attention whores to feel better than you. Or if you practice any kind of martial arts...  :eaugh:

Uh no. You cant ignore a true bully. You'd get your face bashed in, robbed, whatever. Some of you dont seem to understand how serious a bully situation can be. There isn't any outside help that can remedy the situation. Higher authority would just make it worse, and some teachers might even laugh at you if you seek help from them. I just think a weapon is just cutting corners.

I'm not going to engage in this thread about the bullshit topic of bullying.  Obviously there a bunch of biased krellbornes who have been bullied themselves supporting this, and I'm not even going to acknowledge their points.

Now, if the kid stabbed the guy once, or hell, 5 times, I'd've said that I was with him on this.  This is actually murder.  Fuck that.  He didn't die from that one blow to the back of the head, and with an obvious advantage in such a fight, the least amount of stabs to end the fight was necessary.  If the guy had died from that, that would still be acceptable.  But this little fucker stabbed him 18 fucking times.  18.  The only way he could've done that is if he was on top of the guy or holding him, which is actually overaggressive with a deadly weapon.

Kid or no kid, bullied or not bullied, this ruling is bullshit, and that judge needs to be stabbed 18 times by the dead asshole's parents.

No, not really, if you had bothered to read the topic you would get it. If you knew how to read between the lines on the article, you would get it. If you knew this kind of situation, you would get it. You have so many opportunities to get it, and you miss them all.
