Because of course, May isn't the stereotype of the cute girl, or Sol of the silent badass, and Sin of the naive and hungry boy (ala Goku), and.... should I continue? All characters represent some stereotype in one way or another. Leo isn't the exception.

P.S.: Is anyone playing the mission mode? There's plenty of knowledge about the game to be learnt in there, even if you are a veteran to GG.

IDK man, Sol has his moments of weakness.  He's more of a tsundere than anything lol.  I don't really find May to be a stereotype, she's just a cutesy little girl.  Leo in terms of his looks, style, moves, personality etc is just super boring and generic to me.  He doesn't fit with Guilty Gear at all IMO.

Tbh there is something rather mundane about him, but I guess that can be said about anybody if one looks hard enough.

Eh, don't really give a shit though. Playstyle looks decently fun from what I've seen, though not my style.

At least Leo is better than ABA.
I'm just interested in him because of the stances (That's probably why I'm having more fun with Elphelt than Chipp)

HEY, don't let the beard fool you, he's not an old man.
Chipp is too hard, if only I could have Baiken back..

Online mode is a total mess, guys.

I was playing with a friend using his PS4 and...
-PS4 lacks friend invite functionality (WTF?)
-I tried inviting him from my PS3, he didn't receive any message.... sony's fault, but is confusing.
-We tried creating a room with password... couldn't find the lobby in the search results even when we were in the same lobby
-If you want to change character, you lose your seat in the room
-There are chances of having to reset the game if you get a network error on the room because you get stuck without a cancel option. They can't kick you out of the room so you have to exit the game vía XMB.
-If you chat, you lose you seat on the room and you return to the queue

I'd love to at least try it, but finding a copy around here has become oddly hard. Most places that even have lowstock are out when I call. Looks like its Ebay. Yay.

Does anyone know if there's a way to turn the Clash Mode off? It's fine in general, but I was playing with my friends and it was activating every match and breaking the flow (I guess we know each other too well).

That's danger time. It's a part of the gameplay, it activates randomly, and can't be turned off.

Nope.  It's also completely random.  Enjoy.

I've been playing some friends online and I'm having some problems:

-Sol seems more brain dead than ever. I haven't found a way to punish the retarded 2+D into Bandit Revolver "blockstring". I'm trying to do an Instant Block but I'm failing miserably.
-The same shit with Slayer. Mappa Hunch seems to have heave frame advantage, so I end up eating a counter hit if I try to attack after it.

:/ any advice with I-No, Axl or Ky? Or I just have to get good with IBs?

Versus Sol, your best bet is probably IB Revolver and then try to throw him. For all the characters you listed, you can try maybe IBing the sweep so you can try to 6P Sol out of Bandit Revolver; remember that 6Ps in Guilty Gear tend to have invul against air attacks, and Axl/Ky/I-No have pretty fast ones.

Mappa Hunch is supposedly -1/-2 on block depending on the version, so if Slayer is hitting you with a fast normal afterward, that's probably why you're getting counterhit out of whatever you're doing.

Keep in mind, though, that netplay is probably screwing with your reaction time. Even if you're close to them distance-wise, latency's a bitch.

Cool, I'm trying to IB the Bandit Revolver, but is seems like it would be better to do it with the Dust.

Also, I forgot there's an easier way to counter that kind of stuff; Axl has Tenhouseki and after connecting one or two people will start getting afraid of it. Too bad it has more startup frames than in +R :(

I got the game fro PS4... awesome graphics, looks pretty cool... watched the story mode, it's loooooooooong I'm not sure if I was watching it for about 4 hours.... but the ending and all is very cool

about the characters, I tried Ram and didn't like her basics, so far maining Chipp as usual and trying Bedman, interesting char, kinda simple but complex at the same time, mostly when you try to make his missions...

Good game!

That's probably the most accurate way I've heard him described.  He's both straightforward and awkward at the same time somehow.  Schroedinger's GG character.
