I'm not able to play for long periods of time, so I choose mainly games that are gratifying at the moment I turn on the console. That's why fighting games work great for me. No grinding, no RPGs, no stress ... So it's casual for me.

I think the two labels are quite silly. When I hear Hardcore I think of some 500 pound dude eating Hot Pockets and playing an MMO non-stop while screaming on a headset. When I hear Casual I think of a couple of little kids playing Wii Sports with their parents.Either way, yeah if it's fun I play, as everyone else is saying.

When I think of casual I think of those persons that try a game and end up running against a wall for five minutes.

But I never got all the souls in CV: DoS so Im not that much of a completionist (I have to do stuff IRL damnit ).
Im not an achievement whore but I voted hardcore anyway. Achievements are such a halfassed way to push you to play a game without getting anything on it Also third option is winning, and by alot
I don't lean that much towards either, but more in favor of Hardcore. I'll go with in the middle. Being an extremist in either area is definitely not up my alley.
Used to play a lot of video games back in High School, and considered myself hardcore. Now, I don't have as much free time as I did back then and now consider myself as a casual.
