When I think of hardcore games, I think of the non-shovelware/ crappy mini-game compilation games. As such I consider myself to be a "hardcore gamer" in that sense. I don't, however, concern myself with getting everything possible in a game, unless it's unlocking characters. Empty slots on my select screen irk me.
Being either hardcore or casual would limit youDon't be eitherJust be a gamer and play for shits, giggles, fun, and kicking your non-gamer friends' asses.

When I hear Hardcore I think of some 500 pound dude eating Hot Pockets and playing an MMO non-stop while screaming on a headset. When I hear Casual I think of a couple of little kids playing Wii Sports with their parents.Either way, yeah if it's fun I play, as everyone else is saying. When i hear hardcore i think to people ragequitting and throwing themselves to the ground in spasms because they arent being able to win at some game. When I think of casual I think of those persons that try a game and end up running against a wall for five minutes.when I hear hardcore, I think of games that make people get constant hardcock. when I hear casual , I think of games that simulate the same effect but fail to keep the consistency, instead they go back and forth into hard and softcock limbo endlessly.
