Ironically, the japenese dub gives Volde' a deep, manly voice, not unlike Freeza.

tip: when placing the frames on the page, think of a "Z". that is how reading naturally works. in mangá, the "Z" is flipped.

this will prevent stuff like what happened on the last page.

In other words you really need to look at Scott Mccloud's books XD

Not only do you place the frames in a "Z" fashion. But you use the images and the words to help guide the reader's eyes along the page. This way you keep their attention, make sure they do not get confused, make sure they see the important parts you especially want them to see, and you can control pacing better.

A pet peeve of mine are arrows telling me which panels to read. If the layout and/or art isn't capable of it, I don't need to worry about it.

I'm aware of the Z thing. This is the only way the page could actually fit Broly in, as I needed more practice with drawing Broly.
