AWESOME Spriting. I was doing some studies a while back on how fire behaved, and I see you came to the same conclusions :P

This character is very original and the spriting is surprisingly good. BRAVO all around.

Yes, the spriting is great...also the animations are fluid and very impressive.

I'd suggest possibly reworking his facial expressions. Making him look like he did in the game is good, but the way you did it here, it looks like he's constantly stoned.

he has that stoned look in most of his artwork and sprites so i'd keep it like it is

I already have a funny idea on an intro between him and perhaps Leon or Chris.

He helps them (or perhaps the opposite) get a light, since Heatman looks like a lighter and Chris and Leon both carries one as their common item. XD
