help, colors are looking weird in mugen!

I've started working on my first character in Fighter Factory, and its going ok so far, i've been following a tutorial, and havent had huge issues...well except one. in mugen, the basic attack animation is messed up. on all the frames, the background box is still visible, and the character colors themselves are messed up. in fighter factory, the sprites look fine. can somebody help me fix this problem?

You need to prepare the palettes for the character.

There's a good tutorial on preparing every part of the SFF files, including palettes, in here:
