Help creating a lense flare

I need help putting a lense flare in a stage. The sun is setting and it would enhance the whole look and feel. If anyone can give me some tips on how do this I would really appreciate it.

Create a lens flare effect by applying a lense flare filter in photoshop over a black image. Use this image as a sub or add1 layer with layerno=1.

Thanks! I was worried I wouldn't be able to do that with Paint Shop Pro, but it worked just fine. :)

I added transparency to the image in the def file, but I'm about 90% sure that's not what you meant, lol. It works though, so thanks.
