Help! Have some problem playing my mugen

Hi, i've got some problems with my mugen, some stages that i'm trying to play doesn't work,for example: The lava bridge (Eyedol's stage) from Killer Instinct, i've tried to use the Stage Viewer .67 Beta and it works there but not in the game. :(
also, everytime i loose in mugen and take continue and trying to re-play that match then mugen crashes and a error sign comes up saying error loading stage, i've tried to put all my mugen chars/stages etc. to another mugen, it works for a while but in the end, the same problem comes up.
i'm using winmugen

also i don't think this would be the problem but i have an Petium 4. 2,4Ghz 1 gig RAM Geforce 7800GT AGP 8X

please help me! what sould i do?

WINmugen is fuckedup by default, move to linux!!  :sugoi: nah... remove all version date from your chars .def file to avoid the crash, make sure stages have the right "path".

do some searching and you'll get more information about this "common" issues.

if you still have problems after doing what I typed then I suggest you give up.  :sugoi:

Ok, but what do you mean ´remove all version date from your chars .def?
do you mean all the old chars or versions like ´eric 0,7' ?
and yes, my stages has the right path, i've even checked inside these def files, but can i play linux version of mugen on windows xp?
