Help with portraits and icons....

Hi guys....I've been tryin' to change the icons and portraits of my characters, but they never work...I don't know if it's because of transparency or what the hell is wrong...I used adobe photoshop and tried to change the portraits but it's never working at all. It just shows up blank. And I went to Group 9000 and 0 and 9000 and 1.....I don't get why it's not working.

Please help.................

simple you don't just change pictures, there are methods to the madness of mugen, you must learn how to make portraits before you just go adding them in.

It works! One problem though....I don't know how to make it transparent.

in your version of photoshop i'm not sure but try changing the image into indexed coloring and then erasing the backround with the eraser should make it checkered..that works for me.

it should i have cs2 so I'm sure it has it. go to image then mode to do it.

does anyone on here know how 2 shink portraits on mugen cause some of my character on mugen have big portraits on the select screen and I want 2 turn them into normal size like the rest.
