I do not want this clone.

Can somebody explain to me how this could've happened?

Probably, because you forgot to add nothitby, hitby and hitoverride controllers in your helper. Without them, if the helper gets hit, it will revert to state 0

I will try that, I have noticed these clones spawn after the opponent gets hit by my helper
