So i found out about mugen years ago from a friend, then like a fool procrastinated on downloading it forever, finally did and now can never look back. Simply said, i'm hooked.Traced the grape vine to the Mugen database, mugen infantry and here, have a decent 30 or so fighters to start with, brokenMugen, and got familier with workin my way through the files. got my wife hooked, setup a little leaderboard for us, a roster list, all that good shit.anyways, i downloaded fighter factory yesterday, just finished scaling a Shadow i had, and am now getting the craving to get under the hood a bit more personally with character creation, and am officially on the bandwagon with everyone else, id actually post and see whats up
Welcome to the Guild. Thats great that you hooked your wife to MUGEN, it sounds like alot of fun playing with your spouse.
i'll put it to you this way, it all started with her making the mistake of saying chuck norris didnt stand a chance haha. So i have a begginers question. if i was to want to start making a character, where would i start? which tutorials would be the best to begin my journey? i have lots of programmings experience, so im not intimidated by any of that, just need a nudge in the right direction
I would start here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=yMRjrtY6x3E that is how I am learning. Anyways welcome to the Guild
Awesome! thank you much i have just one more question before im set to deploy off to other places here. are there any tools for managing my character selection file that people are recommending over others. i found VSelect, but i just want to make sure im getting the right programs before someone tells me theres something newer and better lol. and are there any other tools or must have things people would recommend? so far, im using mugen 1.0 with brokenmugen, and a 9004 slot edit, and fighter factory. so anything else?
