hi res inspired motvn screenpack final ver by DOWNFIGHTER since phantom g's is a private forum i made my own screenpack all credit goes to the creators for the sprites  ;D

ps after the street fighter 4 video theres pictures in the center so wait for it every aspect of this screenpack is animated and sorry for the sound quality alot of bass  THE VIDEO is poor quality just download then comment people i work hard to make screenpack if you choose not to download it and try it out then dont comment hater >:(

Your excuses suck.
and I don't gloat about stolen shit, I admit the stages I did (at the latest February 2008) which I (badly) ripped the sprites for suck, and the palettes do have errors.

I must say, I've made things for Mugen, and this seems pretty mediocre IMO.  What do you have to come back with?  After a while you get tired of people stealing sprites from other people, but that's just me.

everytime i see a topic from Downfighter it gives me the creeps...



can i ask you a question??

why you dont even TRY to make something alllll by yourself...
so you can have a CHANCE that everybody will like it??

even if it takes a lot of time. i mean.. you are probably very happy that a few people actually like it... but i only saw newbies liking them... why dont you try to do something for the old dogs like us, who apreciate a good ORIGINAL work ??(well i'm not a veeery old dog XD i'm in mugen since 2003, i believe that there's a lot of people that is even older in mugen here in MG )

The Title screen is ugly, since it has a huge animation with little text in the middle, no contrast, and just lacks composure.
Option screen is the same, so no point on commenting.
Select screen is just some huge animation with 1000+ slots for leechers.

So yeah, I think your screenpack is perfect for leechers who like having eye seizures. :S

C'mon downfighter you gotta do better than tht. I'm not hatin bcuz I used to take sprites and recolor them I was in that same position that you were in. Jus DL photoshop and do some random designs until you get that design you were lookin for. Hell dnt be afraid to ask 4 help either I might be able to help you out with some little shit here and there (as long as you credit). But you gotta start doin original shit sooner or later.

You ignore negative comments for what I've seen in the past and it's pretty much making me and other fourm members sick and tired..nobody likes having things stolen and just smashed into a final piece so like people have said, Don't steal things and actually make it youself..Personally your screenpack just looks like an edit of EVE just changed the pictures and such which ofcourse is still an edit..just not a very good one I'm sure you want people to like your stuff? well make it by yourself without stealing other sprites and stuff it's only going to make other fourm members dislike you more as it is shamefully.

actually take notice of what I'm saying then maybe you'll be able to make something yourself for a change and people will like it more than this.

(Maybe I didn't explain as much as I should but I made it simple enough to get into Downfighters head)

i hate to say this but there is no copyright for any of the mugen stuff made online so no one is actually stealing anybodys work as mentioned before in another thread. besides this IS the edit section, meaning you can use other peoples shit and change it around as much as you like. only thing "Downfighter" forgot or didnt mentioned was that it was a EVE SP edit by DJ-van. Give it a rest people, if you dont like it dont download it, simple as that. So if the moderators disagree then might as well delete this topic, no point in debating if Downfighter wont listen.

Any person could make something decent if they had the time to learn, and point out common mistakes made.
If you gave a month of freetime to those who want to learn how to make stuff for mugen, we'd see alot less leechers.

Heck, I'm learning how to code now just so I can edit characters and balance them.

@Mugen Police : First, the term stolen is so innacurate it makes me sick. Did he use things made by other people? Yes he did. Did he took them away from them, so they couldn't see or use them again? I don't think so. He should list all the people he took stuff from, though.

Second, This is MFG. We have an opensource policy. There's nothing wrong with using other person's work and release it. Derailing threads into shit fest about mugen ethic is. This kind of behavior is not acceptable, at all. If your views clash badly with ours maybe this forum isn't for you.

@Downfighter: It's a bad idea to close yourself to criticism. Look at this thread, there are a couple of post that would help you to improve (and being bluntly honestly, you need it)

I know its rude to steal and definitely not respectful and your right but this is still the edits section, check the rules. Hes actually editing not stealing, mistake he made was not crediting but the rules didnt mentioned that either therefore crediting is actually optional and a personal decison.

all im going to say is this 1) it does look like it can induce all sorts of seizures (yes spelled wrong & no not a diss it really looks that way just by the vid posted to show it off), 2) will i most likely download this? highly doubtful (again not dissing but just stating a fact), 3) does it look functional? i guess but im just learning about making sps 4)it still looks kinda thrown together like badly but not as bad as the other one i posted in (not sure if its a good thing) and last but not least 7)we all enjoy something that works and mugen in general is a hobby we all have in common hence the reason most of us go to learn coding spriting and so on. to say we all dont have lives is kinda harsh but post a rant on here and ur better then us. seriously what type of backwards bs is that. at the end of the day its just a game we all enjoy playing, downloading characters, making sp's or whatever else u do related to mugen on here. sure people tend to get bashed but thats how it works. everyone is free to make opinions, critizisms and so on. weither stolen elements in sp's, stolen elements in characters, effects, life bars & what ever else. its an open forum and it should be treated as such instead of closing urselfs to one thing and focus on that. we make the forums grow and become better. the people who post, people who make stuff (characters & so on), even leechers (yea i kno they need to post instead of just grabbing stuff from here), those who warehouse (again also the ones that should do more the just takes characters off different sites) but with out those people where would mugen have gone? just something to think about. my apologizes i know it was long , unrelated and sounded like preaching but it had to be said.
