I don't know of any character that has an effect close to that so far, but I do know one that may be a good substitute, provided you change the colour of it.

Search and download gill_mx by fido. Look in his SFF and you should find a sprite group marked "6699". It's basically a large ball of orange energy that explodes from a single point, sending out a huge wave.

If you can't find it, or can't download it, use this link here that contains the sprites themselves:

When adding them in, use the X axis at 711 and the Y axis at 224.

Every character needs the shun goku satsu because you can do the sacred death art any day of the week, akuma won't be pissed at all

Thanks. The frames 00-30 seem to be useful, if I just recolor it with GiMP. I'll let you know about the results.
