this is COMPLETELY different from all the other Holy Ryu's you've played as before i guarentee it.

also his Folder reads HOLY RYU, but his in game name is RAGING RYU.

he is the other half of my raging characters (the other being Raging Ken)

Good stuff here Ryon...absolutely no complains on my end. Plays very smoothly and nothing seems broken, off or cheap.

I only dislike a few things.

-AfterImages. Even though they are light and are calm to the eyes I think perhaps a pulse would be better because they just kinda like chill *shurgs* again its only a decoratibe.
-I know some people prefer to hit grounded opponents but I think its totaly a bitch move as I would never hit anybody while they are on the floor and even worse its like hitting somebody with glasses on. As a matter a fact I think I saw you wear glasses in a few of your myspace pics from your forum profile, I wear glasses also. How would you feel if somebody hit us. Its wrong aint it. I know crouching light kick is w/e but you can also hit with crouching medium kick also. Again its just my prefrence on this and I tell this to all my Mugen E friends if they have D as a hitflag on their crouching attacks.
- You should implement a Width sctrl on your fireball and super fireball attacks because it misses if your close and/or characters clns are small. You can use mine Width player check code. I trigger it by 1 for the win and my fireballs always deliver.

I like alot of things for this character. Very smooth spritework, edits, effects and inputs, light chains and juggles but they are fun to perform once you get situated with the commands. He is a really really cool character man. Nothing major but delivers = my favorite.

Congratulations on your 2nd beta release.

u all may now me as tohnoshiki but I had anoda birthday not too long afterwards so I re-registered now uhh i jus hope dat i don't get banned again......... but anyways.......This character looks awesome but i wonder if i shuld download cuz im used to cartoonish characters like bigsally holy ryu which i hated i hate all holy characters now and benevolent akuma so i wonder if i shuld download him......but i probably will..........

1 - the afterimage is purely for decoration, since raging ken has a red afterimage at all times. i set it to make only 1 after image that way it doesnt look over the top gay.

2 - yes wear glasses, and yes i am aware of the low kick and width. infact i fixed those errors, but i didnt update him publically yet.
3 - answered in 2. i did it already. i need to tweak it some more i may ask for your help.

yes they are. all of my characters' effects are open source, and so is my coding. if i'm gonna be the warehousing King, i cant complain about my stuff being warehoused. so i make them open source. hell i could even post the sprite sheets i made for the effects.

This is a rather enjoyable version of Ryu which actually is fun to play as and against. Not a very hard AI and to be honest, that makes this one better than most. I needed a Ryu that isn't a major murdering cheap boss like character.

So thanks for the actually *useful* Ryu.
