They're converted from the bootleg Virtua Fighter 2 vs. Tekken 2. Same guy also did a conversion of Sarah from the Genesis port of Virtua Fighter 2.

this is an awesome thing to wake up to. downloading immediately

edit: holy shit this lee is AWESOME. it does indeed play just like tekken 2 and has references to the entire series peppered in it, it even references lee's goofy-ass laugh from tekken 1. author even edited some sprites for new animations. i love this

sooner or later, everybody puts up with xiangfei

Honey is pretty much the same but for Fighting Vipers. Hell, you even have to hold a button to have her block just like the source.

Kinda hoping the guy converts Bahn the same way.

Lee's F+a+x causes Mugen to shut down with an assert failure though.

Weird, I've never gotten the assert failure in the last couple of days that I've been using him.

Yeah I noticed that myself after a bit more comparing. Not surprised to be honest (though I do wanna say it's because of what the author was working with).

Now I want to see more Fighting Viper chars by the same author, with custom interactive stages, allowing to send P2 out of the ring at the end of the fight by sending him on top of the fence/wall.

And yeah, I agree, Honey is missing a lot of moves compared to what I remember.

I don't remember if the pirate game this Honey's sprites are from had any other Fighting Vipers characters given the fact that the focus was meant to be Tekken and Virtua Fighter.
