How do I add screen packs, life bars, and other things like those, and how come I can't set more than 4 characters? (After 4, I put another one, it doesn't show up?) If so, how do I put/get a bigger character pack?
Ok download a screenpack. A low-res one for winmugen of linux mugen, a hi res on for Mugen Plus or highres mugen.Step one is backup your current mugen just in case there is a problem.Step two replace the data folder with the one from the screenpack you are using.Step three, put any fonts that came with the screenpack in the fonts folder do the same with sounds.Step four. Open up the System.def in the data folder with a text editor. Make sure that the paths to the sound files are in the sound folder and do the same with the fonts. Make corrections to the paths if need be. Most likely you don't have to.Step five, add your characters to the new select.def that came with the screenpack this is in data.Step 6 run mugen and enjoy your new screenpack.
