use the proper stage, that bonus was designed for an enclosed space it seems

for example, bonus stages comes with their own custom stage.
in this case, this bonus is suposed to be played in it's own stage.
or rphrasin that, not suposed to be played with a stage not for it.

you need to put that bonus in it's own stage that is a narrow one, that doesn't scroll when you move
