alright so yesterday I found these patches to give tifa and cloud there english voices from dissidia. unfortunately when testing them you can barely hear them, and the volume on the characters are all the way at 255.  so I figure it's a problem with the .snd's so can someone please help me figure out how to fix the snd's volume.  I mean, I heard you have to open them up with a program, but which one.  and it has to be for free I'm a student on my own so food and rent come over my gaming needs

I will try my best to explain the way, i do to increase the volume.

Things you will need:
Fighter Factory "Ultimate or classic, up to you"
Audacity

Use Fighter factory to open up the character's snd file, save the sounds that are soft into a new folder "name it anything you wish"

After that use Audacity to open the soft sounds that you have saved, and rise the volume, save into the same folder again.

Finally open Fighter factory again and open the character's snd file and swap the soft sounds with the current one and there finish

I know that fight factory is free, but what about audacity

Use Google. There are plenty of free sound editing programs available.

Use Google. Use Google.

Use Google.

*sigh when it comes to audio and video programs unless you have the name of the program you want google isn't very reliable.   It'll pretty much find everything you don't want... at least that's my experience with it

When you put "audacity" in a Google search, you don't see the word "free" anywhere? I'm trying to make you realize that you don't need to ask everything because a lot of things you can find out yourself.

That doesn't make any sense since Google is a search engine that allows you to search things that are made available to the internet by real people.

I'm more likely to trust someone I've talked to and seems trust worthy than click on a random title with free in it on google.  yes google is made by people but it's a search engine so anything matching what you type is what you're going to get,  that's why alot of the  links will lead you to a virus or porn.   think of it like alienware laptops their old motto was, "laptops made by  gamers for gamers" and they were great, but then they were took over by dell and their motto changed to, "Build it as if it were your own" and the quality and service isn't all that great. the same thing happened to google as more people release more websites the quality of the search goes down

I typed "Audacity" in the Google search bar and pressed Enter.

I clicked the first link that was displayed.

It was Audacity's Sourceforge page where you can download it for free.

I didn't get any viruses or porn.

that's true typing in this program gave you the main site, which proves what I said about having the name of what you want,  but that's not always the case like with mugen for example or several other programs.  Rujaj.. is right   this time with the google search but that isn't always the case and that's why it's always good to get another persons opinion. at least, I'm the type of person how doesn't trust a link unless I have a pretty good idea that it can be trusted.  everyone has their own opinion though so whatever....

btw, this is getting kind of off topic xD
