how do you organize ypur select screen?

How do you guys organize your select screen?  I tried organizing it by game series and emulating the how the select screens looked in that particular game.  The only problem I had was remembering where was  a particular version of a certain character that I wanted to use.

I organize by series and company, if any. I have a section for Capcom, SNK Comics, Original, and Anime/Manga.

  • Three times thicker font than a normal user.
Team characters first, then everyone else. Considering I have less than 80 (throwing a value out there) characters at one time, and that my screenpacks generally let me see the characters I'm selecting, I don't need to organize much.

By game, and by creators for CVS sprites, by fighting style for KOF (grapplers for example, are all side to side).

I just kinda chuck them in there...no method of organization is utilized.

By respectable companies, then games, then by alphabetical order.

In cases original, edited, and other characters I put them in their own folder.

Usually by where the original sprites come followed by similar game play/games right next to those and the end is usually filled with "why 'tf do i still have this characters"

I got one screen pack with mk and sftm characters. Thx MO and Smoke.
I got another that is Marvel versus Streetfighter
I got another for comics that also has different versions of Marvel and Streetfigher chars.
I got another for hi-res chars
I got another for horror that has such chars as Ash, Ella, and AVP.
I got another for non magic powers chars. You know, E. Honda, Guy, Rambo, stuff like that. 

Then I put them in an a easy to hard to beat order.
