How do you set the character order in MUGEN 1.0?

I use MUGEN 1.0, but I don't know how to set the order of characters in Arcade Mode up properly. I tried and tried and tried:

SuperMario, stage/SSBB, order=2
finn1105, stage/ChumBucket, order=4
Kirby, stage/drunken clam, order=2
StimpyMH, stage/drunken clam, order=2
mordecai1105, stage/homer, order=1
rigby1105, stage/EHZBoss, order=1
peter, stage/drunken clam, order=2
krusty, stage/ChumBucket, order=5
gchicken, stage/ChumBucket, order=3
Pac-Man, stage/SSBB, order=4
homero, stage/homer, order=3
MetaKnight, stage/bikinibottom, order=6
bartman, stage/homer, order=4
SonicV2, stage/EHZBoss, order=4
SbobTheSngeAlt, stage/bikinibottom, order=5
Lucario, stage/Final Bowser Battle, order=6

this looks legit but did u set up the count in the select.def file....try this..

this part is at the bottom.

[Options]
;Here you set the maximum number of matches to fight before game ends
;in Arcade Mode. The first number is the number of matches against
;characters with order=1, followed by order=2 and order=3 respectively.
;For example, for 4,3,1 you will fight up to 4 randomly-picked

arcade.maxmatches = 2,1,2,1,1,2,1,1

also, randomselect, stage/EHZBoss, order=0

every char line has to have the order marked off

^ Actually, order doesn't matter for randomselects.

Additionally, you probably want to get rid of those spaces in the stage file names.
If they're not causing trouble now, it'll probably cause trouble latter.

order=1 is unnecessary
stage with space in name .def can't be use as character stage if you put it as character specific stage, just remove the space to make it work
every order must have stage to make it work, use random in stage parameter if character has no default stage
