I am having issues getting this to work and have searched for awhile both on these forums and on google to see if anyone else is having this problem. The menu isnt showing up along with the music that is looping on the youtube video showing it off. I am pretty sure i didnt install the screenpack correctly so any help is appreciated. Thanks

Sound issue I assume isn't using a proper path in the system.def, as for the menu not showing up i'm going to assume that you're talking about the fonts. "Arcade, Versus, Team," and so forth.

Well from what I can see it's a drag and drop, lovely.

Alright, drag the font folder and the sound folder found inside the zip file to your Mugen folder, and merge them went it asks you to. From the way the system.def is set up that should work.

it is coming up with the default load out now. The only way i could get it to load up before was by extracting it into a separate folder putting that folder into data then making a shortcut for mugen load from that folder, but then i had the issues I mentioned above. Not sure what I am doing wrong sorry if these are stupid questions  i am new.

Screenpacks aren't very friendly for newbies as it's easy to get files mixed up.

Tired and late, I don't want to do a full explanation so I downloaded the screenpack and arranged everything to work in one folder, also drag and drop installations are a mess since it replaces the default screenpack files and people don't know what belongs to which screenpack and they get confused.

Download this and then place the "MM" folder inside the data folder of your Mugen folder.

After you do that then open the Mugen.cfg inside data with notepad and edit the motif line to say
Code: 
motif = data/MM/system.def
I tested it myself and it should work just fine that way.

wow thank you! I had it set up correctly but didnt know u had to edit the motif. I appreciate all your help was above and beyond what I was expecting!

hey i am having another problem witht he same screenpack. I cant get the characters to show after entering the in MM folders select file.

Er you sure you're using the one I gave you? It should be fine, I double checked and it's the correct pathway..

What does the motif line in your mugen.cfg say?

everything loads up, its only when i go to the select file to enter characters that the character do not show up. The motiff line says what you told me to put in so idk

motif = data/system.def  ;Use this line if using a motif that overwrites system files.
motif = data/MM/system.def
is my exact line for the motif. the select file being pulled from the correct location as well the characters just arent loading up after i put them into the sheet

Tried it myself, it's working for me just fine, since I don't have access to your stuff I don't really know what would be wrong.

Only thing I guess for now is characters not being written in properly in the select.def
Mind posting the first few lines of your select.def then?

lol ok so i am retarded most likely. I was leaving the [001] and this time i tried it without. WOW lol I thought it was there as a refrence or something i guess I should have thought about it earlier. Thank you again for the help

ok i got more than one character in to make sure it works 100% but i cannot move down to select the character using the arrow keys. prob another dumb mistake im guessing?

im guessing each slot need to be filled to move down

That's because the screenpack doesn't allow for highlighting empty cursors.

Open up the system.def and scroll down to the [Select Info] area
Change
moveoveremptyboxes =0
to
moveoveremptyboxes =1

This should let you highlight every box available, might be a pain when using it since it has a lot of slots for secret characters.
