How to link sprites in .sff

Hi, guys

In my .sff files open with Fighter Factory, some sprites have "Unlinked",
but some other have Linked to sprite 5000,10 (for example)

I have several sprites that are the same in hitted states, and I want to
link them to reduce file size.

How can I link a sprite to another?

Thanks a lot

this is usually automated but i discourage doing this especially if you are using anything outside of Fighter Factory 3 because files with linked sprites are very prone to errors not only in terms of gameplay but in terms of the file becoming irreversibly corrupted and completely absolutely worthless.

on top of which i tremendously doubt sprite linking saves anyone a significant/substantial/both amount of space anyway.

Agreed. Linking sprites under winmugen will regularly get messed up. I have had them link without me wanting it to happen and i wind up with a large number of sprites all turned into my small portrait or something.

Unless you're using sffv2, don't link your sprites.
